Zinstall is an internet company that sells downloaded software that claims to migrate programs, files and folders and all data from one operating system to another via an ethernet cable.
Once their program is installed on both computers, migration is supposed to start. What happens is NOTHING happens, all the program does is allow the user to switch from one operating system to another. You must physically move the programs, files and folders, computer settings and everything yourself.
I contacted their support and was advised that I needed to download, at a cost of $150.00, a diagnostic tool that would help them access the computers in question and diagnose the migration problem.
I can not allow access to any computers that have sensitive financial information from multiple clients least of all to a foreign entity and told them as much.
I was then told that I needed to download a different program at a similar cost that they claimed would do what I needed to do, I had already spent $149.00 on the XP7 program and I informed them that I wasn't going to purchase any more worthless software from them.
I requested a refund of my purchase price for the non working XP7 program and I received instead a form letter that I would be charged with INTERNET FRAUD if I persisted in asking for a refund.
This company is fraudulent in their business practices and need to be reported.
