I have been a loyal, good paying (auto drafts from account) customer for over 3 years with Easyrealtysites.com. In fact at one point I was paying for multiple domains through easyreatysites.com. On numerous occassions i have spoken with Craig Grant, because he is the only employee in his online sales and consulting company based in Florida. I know he promotes his other company The Real Estate Technology Institute, which again is himself. He wants to appear to be this large corporation all the while it is just a small company like the customers he looks for, Realtors. Which I am one of them. For over 3 years I have asked about product upgrades, changes, SEO solutinos, all the while getting a resounding ""NO"" or ""Can't happen"" or ""we can't do that"" from his company.
He could see I was trying my hardest to get business rolling and could see i was paying attention to what Googl, Yahoo and other Interenet reports say about SEO or Search Engine Optimization so he called me to talk in April of 2013. We finally sat down via Gotomeeting.com and talked about the new company he would be reselling for, yourmlsearch.com. He spoke of all thier great product enhancements, many of which were the answers to the questions i had been asking for past 3 years. He said he was creating a relationship with yourmlssearch.com that i would be happy with. As part of this switch, he would be taking his current book of business, which i imagine is over a few hundred clients, assuming we are all paying the cost of $25 to $50 depending on the level of service you get from him.
I have the $50 service package from Colony1.net. Anyway, 300 customers even at $25/month is still $7,500 a month, not a bad living, if majority of us are paying $50 then $15,000/month is a really good living. For that you think he could hire a team..I digress. In our April conversation he said things would be rolling out in May and he expected Greater Fort Myers Board of Realtors to be ready at the end of June, that gave him plenty of time to work out the kinks in his transition from Colony1.net to YourMLSsearch.com. It was about second week of July 2013 when I stated to ask through emails, ""is the change going to happen soon?"" With no communication from Craig since June 6, 2013 I decided to reach out to yourMLSsearch.com direclty.
There I spoke with the sales person, David Siebert. He said that Greater Fort Myers Board of realtors ""build out"" on the back end would be done by end of July and sent me a proposal. The propsoal was for $1593, which included a $9 passthrough fee for (Greater Fort Myers MLS because our MLS charges $1800 for the RETS data feed), and a $374 set up fee...and was supposed to be paid upfront for 1 year of service. I was slightly shocked because Craig Grant stated, ""current costs wouldn't increase for current book of business"", he also stated, ""no set up fee would be charged"" and then the real kicker is, he said ""billing would be same as it is today, on a monthly ACH process.
