Moved in to new apartment called Trio at Encore in Tampa Florida and after 6 months of living there received bill from Yes Energy Management for water, waste water and Chilled water for the AC. When tried to find out why the chilled water was soooo expensive I could not get anyone to call me back from Yes Management and each time I spoke to someone different and they all told different stories about the chilled water portion of bill. They kept telling me they were excalating my call to supervisor level 1 2 or 3 each time I called, needless to say I never ever received any call back. Then asked management at apartment complex, they too were no help.
We were billed for mos when we were told there were no meters and then they lied and billed us for those mos 6 mos later and they were 100.00 bi weekly just for chilled water for a 900 sq foot apartment and I was also paying an average of 100 to tampa electric. Noone at apartment complex ever helped and we ended up having to move out because the astronomical fees for 'chilled water'. Then Trio tried to illegally evict us from apartment even though we paid every water bill to them directly but billed from Yes Energy Management.
This was a sham from the very beginning. We were never told about this chilled water but somehow there was an addendum on the lease regarding payment of chilled water. So we just paid our rent on time each month and after receiving no calls back from apartment management or Yes energy after 4 mos of emails and phone calls, we were just paying the amount we were billed for and we refused to pay the 2 mos when we were told by apartment complex that we would not be responsible to pay for Sept. and Oct. because there were no meters installed at that time, the first metered bill we received was for November and they added late fees when we didnt even rec first bill for november untill mid january. Then in Feb we were billed for Sept and Oct, they let us pay the bill in increments of 2 weeks added on to each water bill and when we told them we wanted a metered bill for the mos they were asking us to pay when there were no meters they lied and said there were meters they just never got around to billing tenants till 6 mos later. They tried to evict us illegally even though we paid rent on time each month and then would not accept my last mos rent and instead told me they already starting eviction because I refused to pay water to them unless they gave me a metered bill. Suddenly they sent me a MOCK BILL which was totally made up.They are scammers both the Yes Management and Trio at Encore which is run by JMG Realty Inc. tampa fl 33618 who were also no help at all.
Please look into this company they have a way of ripping families off, by over charging them for gas, sewer services, trash , water and any other little thing that they can tact onto your bill. gerald toomes artesia ,ca 90701
