First of all they tell you its free trial for the wrinkless cream and a luxoderm cream, you only have to pay shipping costs.
When you get the shipment, mthere's two bottles of each cream and then if you read all the small print, they say you have 15 days to return the product if you're not satisfied and you won't be charged the $200+ for the samples.
I called the same day I received the product and told them I wanted to return the product and that since I'm on a fixed income there was no way I could afford their prices. So the customer service rep I was talking to said he could give me a one time discount because he 'was absolutely sure that I would love the product'. Again I explain to him that I could not afford this and that I just want to return it so it doesn't charge my card. Which, by the way, you have to call to get a return number from them or they won't except your cancellation.
I told him that the website was fraudulent, false advertising and misleading because it says that it is a free sample. Nothing about it is free.
After much arguing with him, he told me I would have to talk with a company manager to get the number to return the product and stop further charges. The manager assured me several times that my card would not be charges because I was returning the product before the 15 day trial was up.
I took the product to the post office the same exact day I received the shipment and got tracking numbers so I would have the proof that they received the product back. Two days after they received the product back, they charged my card $99.90. So after the cost of having it shipped to me, then the cost of shipping it back to them and then the charge of $99.90, I'm out of pocket of over $100. To some that may not be much, but I live on disability and that is a lot for me.
I called customer service about the charges that they told me they would not charge and I was informed that I was charged the $99.90 because i had cancelled the auto shipments and they had not received the product by the time they charged my account. When I informed him that I had the proof that they did in fact receive it before they charged my account. He told he they would issue a refund for the $99.90 and it would take 7 to 10 business days. That was January 2, today is January 20 and I still have not received a refund.
I called again today and told them I still had not received my refund and that it has been more than the 7 to 10 business days. The customer service rep I spoke with today said that it will be another 7 business days because they have such a high refund request right now. Could it be because they are fraudulent and liars?
