I purchaced a weeder/trimmer combo not even a year ago through Lowes Hardware in Charlotte NC- I used the item all of three times before the spool of string kept flying off. I reached out to Lowes to asked for a replacment and they said its been more then 90 days that I would need to reach out to Worx so I did since the item was still under warranty they said they would replace the item free of charge but would need for me to provide a credit card to charge 14.01 to it. After reading reviews of the company and hearig the horror stories of people being charged full price on their card when they were told they would only be charged shipping (14.01) I asked for the address to send a check into and they provided it. Its been over 4 weeks and I keep trying to call in and the hold time has been over an hr and I provided the order number to them and they said its on its way but I have yet to receive this. I am at my wits end at this point and would not trust this company at all. I wish I would have read reviews before buying their product and it seems like I will never get this replacment so I am out over 200.00 in addition to the 14.01 they charged for shipping.
I live in Charlotte and their company is out of Charlotte not even ten miles from them so I find it hard to believe that its taking this long to ship my item when they have received their check. Dont trust this company because their products are faulty and you will rarely get anyone on the line. They do have an option to leave your number and someone would call you back (but you wouldnt know when) last time I did this it took them 5 hrs to call me and I missed the call. VERY frustrated
