My husband and I were promised one puppy in September. Kim Ball told us the puppy was too old and offered us another pup from another litter. We initially denied the offer but found out the puppys age was a few weeks off of what we were told it was. We accepted that offer after finding that out and chose one from a new litter in Northern California (High Desert Wolves). After getting updated pictures and information on the pup we chose every week for 7 weeks it was time for us to get our pup.
We were told that the vet appointment was that Tuesday and the pup would fly out Wednesday. We emailed / called several times after that to get details, but didnt' get any answer at all from either. We decided to find the breeder and contact her ourselves - We found www.highdesertwolves.com and emailed the breeder about our puppy.
There was no vet appoinment Tuesday. There was no flight that Wednesday. She had never gotten the message from Kim Ball that we paid OR were interested in that puppy. The puppy was actually sold to another family. I can't tell you how hard that was to tell my children that the puppy we followed every week was not coming home.
We were told by Kim Ball that she would refund us. We got a confirmation that Paypal received the request for refund but it was denied by Arnold Ball Pet Services (the name they were using last week - now using AB Pet Services ) The refund was requested a second time, but still nothing.
Please be very careful with this company - I have no puppy. I have no refund. I have kids that are sad and disappointed - and it is the holiday time. Disappointed is not the word that I would use - It is a horrible horrible thing that has happened to my family and I just want to warn other people so it doesn't happen to them!!!!

We were confused since the information she provides says that she is in California. I did get confirmation that she is in Cedar City Utah -

I have nothing bad to say about the pups I've recieved or the breeders, I do have 2 that I have purchased through her. I was supposed to have 3 in total and only ended up with 2. She had agreed to refund my money on the last pup because she could not fullfil her agreement with us, however I am still waiting on my money, and from my last email conversation with her I've basically come to terms with the fact I am not getting it back. I have emails where it states she is willing to give me my money back, yet her last email says she never said such a thing and I signed a contract, which I am not arguing I that I didn't. However in the conversations between us there were multiple times where there was clarification on getting a refund if we didn't end up with 2 pups.
We started looking in Dec of last year and never actually got a puppy until March this year. We had paid in full for 2 puppies and only got one. Not becuase we didn't want two, but because she kept making us change litters or she would have some excuse after we had an agreement, even to the point of trying to get more money for something we had already agreed on. Everytime something would happen she would always have something personal going on and that was why she either didnt' respond or why something else went wrong and why we couldn't have the pup we picked or wanted, so off to another litter we would go. Again through out the whole time she said if we wanted a refund she would be okay with that.
The whole process of dealing with her is a bit frustrating because they never answer all your questions in the emails, they make you think one thing and they do another. We had our names in on 3 litters before we actually got one. We were looking at the blues and she was going to work with us and we could breed and help her into the Canadian Market as I am in Canada. It sounded like she was going to do whatever she could to ensure we got good breeding stock so we could have good lines to provide her clients. That all fell through when the breeder who she deals with on her blues refused to sell us a puppy for $1500, she wanted $2-3000 for them and wasn't moving. But we had already agreed to pay and had already given her the money that we discussed. In the end of that we again transfered into the last litter where we did get our female from. we were supposed to get two from this last litter but the breeder had already "apparently" sold all puppies so we could only get one. After talking with the breeder later she did have the other female still avaliable and we could have taken her but we think that the lady was just trying to get more money for her, and that is why she said they were all sold.
I've sent email after email trying to get something from her, it took me telling her I would put a rip off report out on her and do what ever I could to make sure people knew how dishonest she is. She responded with an email telling me not to threaten her. I responded stating I wasn't threating I have all her emails back and forth from the very begining and have her stating she would give me my money back so I wasn't threatening her I was going to simply tell the public the truth about what she does.
She will tell you one thing and do another. She said she couldn't pay me back because she was going bankrupt.No matter how much I love my animals I would never buy from her again and I would hope that this report sways others from making her any money or giving her the chance to rip you off. She took me for a little under $2000
