I do not know where to begin with this firm. They say they have all this experience and are profesiional but they are anything but. They simply bill you and go to court without knowing who you are, knowing your case, or knowing the law; and they don't care. You win, they win; you lose, they win. They dont care. In fact, why bother working to win when you get paid anyway? You will lose everything you own and probably never see your kids again if you hire them; they are that bad. You would be better off not having any lawyer than having them. They are heartless and grossly incompetent. After they are done destroying you and your family, they will come after you for over $100,000 more even though they didnt do anything for you. Another client I ran into was billed $100,000 for a simple divorce from them and they totally screwed up his case as well. These people shouldnt be allowed to practice law; they should be in jail. Do not hire them and if you already did, fire them immediately before its too late. Good Luck.
I agree completely with these comments. I lost everything to these imbeciles including my daughter. Jaqueline Harounian showed up unprepared and didn't know anything about my case and the law. She acted like a chicken without a head. She has no shame in destroying her clients lives. Of course she only cares about money but she does nothing to earn it. This lawyers in this firm belong in jail and I truly hope one day they will be. Harounian is unquestionably the stupidest person I have ever met in my life. Represent yourself is usually not a good option but it is better than having her represent you.
My experience was nealrly identical to the one mentioned here. I lost my home, my life savings and most importantly, my child. Ms. Jaqueline Harounian showed up late, literally completely unknowledgable about my case, did not care one bit about me or my child, she texted other clients throughout the entire trial, refused to listen to my pleas to get her act together, and was yelled at by the judge constantly with no effect. She is an imbecile and a disgusting excuse for a human being. No matter what your stage of litigation, fire her and represent yourself if you have to. She is worse than not having a lawyer. It is like having "My cousin Vinny" represent you but its not funny and it does not end well. She also claims to be an adjunct professor of law at Hofstra but that is a complete lie as I found out later. I do not understand how she is able to look herself in the mirror or why she is allowed to practice law when she should be in jail.
