- Hi Andi- I didn't realize these were on your site until yterseday (1-18-12). Great pics as always- but I just wanted to thank you for your kind words and let you know we love you very much and we're very proud of you and the wonderful person you are!
On Sept 21 2013, my friend dropped me off at the IKEA store in Renton WA (visiting from Hawaii). Later on that morning, I realized that I had left my cell phone at his house.
IKEA has a single pay phone just inside the main entrance- and my initial call was to get his phone number. Subsequently, I made 4 calls trying to locate him, and WiMacTel has charged me $16.38 per call- and each call was to a local number in the same county!
I contacted WiMactel, and Carla reluctantly agreed to refund me for 2 of the calls, which means that I am stuck with $32.38 for 4 local calls.
Needless to say, I find this completely outrageous. I have contacted and written VISA, IKEA, and am in the process of contacting the Attorneys General of both Washington state and Hawaii state, and will contact anyone else required to bring attention to these practices. As far as I am concerned, they are illegal and should be criminal.
To be charged $16.38 per call- when the message scrolling across the screen is asking for 50 cents... is completely unacceptable. Shame on WiMacTel.
