Contracted Wilson trucking to deliver an 800 pound bedroom furniture set on 2 pallets. When I first contacted Wilson to verify the delivery date, the rep advised me that the shipment was headed to Atlanta and not daytona beach. She gave me the Atlanta number to contact the hub directly.
when hen I spoke with the rep in Atlant, I was told that they didn't know where the shipment was and considered it lost. She said she would look into it and get back to me. I contacted the original broker for the shipment from Blue Grace shipping to look into the problem
they got back and said the load was not lost and had accidentally not been placed on the truck. I was also told that it had been sitting on the loading dock for 5 days unnoticed. They informed me that it was corrected and would arrive on Wednesday, 2 days later in Orlando. That morning I was to be contacted for a delivery time
On Wednesday I contacted Wilson, after not hearing from them. They said the truck was not enroute to Orlando and had apparently been loaded on the wrong truck going to Virginia. It was to be corrected and the manager from Orlando assured me that he would personally monitor the progress and contact me himself for all updates. In addition they were going to deliver at a time I deemed convenient
On the following Monday I was contacted, not by he manager, but by another woman who told me it would arrive between 4 and 4 the next day. I was not able to set my own time, but she would have the manager contact me later that day to verify my request.
Tuesday morning I contacted Wilson, after failing to get a call. They informed me that the shipment was not on the truck and again on the dock. Again, I am supposed to receive it tomorrow, 14 days later, shipping from Atlanta to Daytona.
The customer service is horrible. They make promises to follow up and are very apologetic and convincing, however they are just empty promises. I have lest numerous messages to have the manager contact me back, yet they continue to field his calls and messages.
there is absolutely no reason, other than gross negligence for 2 800 poun pallets to sit on a loading dock and then get loaded on the wrong truck. If you value your time and products choose another carrier. I am out 2 days work and hours of phone time for this ordeal. Hopefully the set is still intact and un damaged when and if it arrives tomorrow.
