I used to go to the Wild Hare Salon years ago but stopped going because it became too Boca. I found a Groupon for Haircut and Blowdry and Deep Conditioning Treatment for $45.00 which sounded great.
When I booked the appointment the woman asked me if I had been here before and I said a long time ago. I told her I had a Gropon and she replied oh, hold on let me see who takes them. She didn't think I heard her say "I hate these Groupon people". I said what is your name, she said Karen. She booked my appointment and I hung up.
Anyway, I went in for my appointment and when I got off the elevator there was an older woman who asked who I was here to see and I said I don't remember the name. I told her my name and she said I can't find it go to the next desk. So, off I went and the cashier with short very blonde hair and a fake tan was helping someone and told me to have a seat someone would be right with me. After a few minutes I asked to be helped, she got annoyed and said to the assistant she is a Groupon.
Wild Hare if you do not want Groupon business then stop advertising in there, because you treat us with distain and oh by the way deep conditioner was regular conditioner and no massage which was supposed to be included.
It's a shame I would have gone back because I like the guy who cut my hair but the general attitude by the staff was that I was bothersome. I am an executive at a local company - shouldn't judge a book by its cover. Shame on you.....
I learned a long time ago, money is green and goes anywhere and many businesses are willing to take my money.
