Negotiation is much more efficient than returning the wigs you are not satisfied or accusing to pp.
I bought an auburn bob wig from Wigsway.com last month, but they sent me a wig in wrong color and wrong style, I was so angry and i just demanded returning the wrong wig directly, I accused the company to pp, but the response was so slow and i was forced to negotiate with the company, and they gave me the returning address finally and also returned me some money, and I felt negotiation, sometimes, is more efficient than direct ways.
Buyer beware of this company. There website looks legitimite and their return policies acceptable, but that is far from the truth! In purchasing a wig from this company, I was appalled when I received it. It smelled very strongly of formaldehyde, didn't fit (even though I followed their fitting guide measurements) and looked horrible. It smelled so bad I was afraid to take it into the light for fear it would burst into flames! I immediately contacted the company to request a refund and where to return the product. I got the run around from a contact named "Wendy" that could hardly communicate in English, talked about how it costs the company too much money to make and mail the wig, they made very little money from the sale and I should understand their side.
They tried to offer $20 and keep the wig but I refused their offer. I have returned their wig to China via USPS and I am still working on resolving this problem. I paid through Paypal and have filed a claim through them to get some assistance in this matter since I can not get any satisfaction from the seller. I suggested to Paypal they should drop this company as a seller on Paypal because they are a rip off company. I am hoping for a full refund. If you are looking for a wig purchase, go to a local store so you can see, touch and try on a wig. A purchase from this company will only bring frustration and dissatisfaction.
I was cautious about ordering a wig online but once i put it on, i loved it. I get compliments on my hair and it is very comfortable to wear. It only been about 3 weeks but so far so good.
I ordered a wig on 11/08/2014 from wigsway.com. I received it on 12/03/2014.It was the wrong color & of poor quality. I e mailed wigsway that day & asked how I could return the wig & get a refund. Somebody by the name of Fiona said I needed to send pictures & they had better be from the front & side & back. And tell her what the problem was. I did as Fiona said & she told me to wash it & style it & try again! She didn't give me an address to send it back to.
I sent another e mail & told her I did not want the wig & would she please give me an address.I didn't hear from her for a few days & sent a few more e mails & wanted to know why I was being ignored.Because she answered my other e mails promptly.
She finally e mailed me on 12/08/2014 & proceded to tell me this wig was custom ordered & that it cost them a lot of money to make it. She said all their wigs were custom made. She told me to try again. Then she said if I still was not happy she would send me $20.00 & I could keep the wig. There was no where on the order form that said I was ordering a custom made wig.
I paid $192.00 for a wig that I can't wear. I am a strawberry blonde This wig is dark brown. & it has a bad smell. Their return policy is the product has to be sent back within 14 days to get a refund. They won't give me an address so by the Tim the 14 days are up I'm sol.They also say not to send it back without getting an adress because they probably will not receive it. Sounds fishy to me.
I have ordered wigs from other company's & have s even sent some back & never had any problems until now. Also wanted to say I have to wear wigs because of a medical condition. Otherwise I wouldn't have this problem because If I had my own hair I definitely would not buy wigs. I continue to wish I could grow it back. But I know that is wishful thinking. I've had to learn to live with stares & rude comments!!!
I'm going through the same thing with the wig I ordered. My delivery was 4 Dec 2014. I ordered mine through Paypal and so I disputed the charges. If you ordered by credit card or Paypal give them a call and dispute the charge as fraud.
