I pay Wi-Power Internet of TransWorld Network Corp. for internet service at my home in Vail AZ. The charge is $70 per month for Their MEGA Plan which is 6mbs with a guranteeed minimum speed of 1.5mbs at peak times
it is advertised and sold as a 6mb MEAGA plan, however I rarely see speeds over 2mbs and in the past 3 months speeds speeds well below the guranteed 1.5mb, such as the tests show below.

When contacting Technical support they give the obligatory spiel of reseting equipment etc, I run these test direct from their equipment caneling out any of my own devices, so as to get a direct connection to wi-power without interferance. The tech say they tweak this and then that and realise there may be somthing wrong and they will forward my issue to the Network Operations Center (NOC), thats the last I hear from them. When I call again they do the exact same thing. I contacted Customer support via email and after 7 days , no one has contacted me
I was assured the speed provided would meet my needs. I am an IT Guy myself and when I am on call I require the Bandwith I pay for, I am understanding in the fact that Urban Wireless internet bandwidth can fluctuate with heavy use, however I should at least see a minmum of 3mbs at peak times not below what TWN gurantee.
My only additional Internet use is to watch movies on Netflix and online games. Since becoming a Wi-Power customer 3 years ago, I do have a reliable connection, just not acceptable speeds, cannot watch movies on Netflix (buffering constantly).
Complaints to TransWorld result in me spending time on the phone with their technical support, people who have me plug and unplug routers and run speedtest.net which simply shows my connection speed isn't what I am being charged for.
Wi-Power Internet Reviews
Awful
Complete ditto on what the other reviewer already posted. I have nothing more to offer. Stay away from this internet provider.
