I know of this vendetta involving this family from North Adams. It is absolutely true. If you look at when all of these malicious posts started "again" its right when they were brought to court (June)for these most "recent" charges.

Look at the dates. Read the articles on them. They were planning on starting a new puppy mill with Karens dog, demanding AKC papers. She found out, blew the whistle on them and that is when all the fictitious reviews.

This is a shame that things can be printed in an attempt to discredit someone. I personally know the Lima family and they are small hobby breeders, not a puppy mill. They stand by their puppies. They are caring and loving with their animals. Have no genetic issues or otherwise, ever!
Believe me if they knew ANYONE had a problem with a pup that was bought from them it would be dealt with.

This couple portrayed themselves as a retirement home for Karens daughters dog. After a few days threatened if they were not given papers (to breed her) they would post bad reviews. Karen did not comply. Afterwards she found out true identity of these people.
It upsets me as a dog lover, and now a friend of Karen Lima, (after buying a puppy)that this is allowed. Its awful that someone that is obviously seriously trying to damage someones reputation, is allowed to write as they wish without stating their name.
We purchased our dog from Karen. She is the love of our life, happy, healthy. We were impressed with how the puppies were raised. How Karen loved her dogs and puppies, and how they were cared for.
This is just out and out slander! She has been there for me to talk to,even about how to train my puppy. I can't tell you how many times I have called and always have been met with professionalism and friendship, over the past three years. Don 't let these rants from a person with an agenda, sway you from a truly, great breeder and person, as Karen.

Let me start by saying . I am truly puzzled by previous reviews. Our family has purchased 2 puppies on separate occasions from this breeder and have had nothing but great experiences. When you arrive at the home it is a clean family home. Grandchildren are there playing with dogs, a with a true family bond that any dog lover can recognize. Yard is fenced in for dogs to run and play it is a residential home not a puppy mill , that comment was absurd. As anyone who has been there could plainly see. .our puppies were examined by family vet and are healthy now at the ages of 3 and 5, there are no genetic abnormalities or health issues and is the reason we returned for second family pet. There have never been any behavior or temperament issues with either of our pets and they were from separate litters. We have enjoyed our experiences with White oak run Labradors and would not hesitate to return or tell other family and friends to purchase from them. This review is so hard to imagine. I purchased my puppy 2 years ago, from them and he is the most loving healthy dog there is. There were only 3 dogs when I visited, multiple times before I purchased my puppy. All very well taken care of and loved. Every question was answered for me. I called multiple times and had some great conversations regarding the puppy process. This breeder only breeds occasionally and loves the dogs like family members. So sad people can write whatever they want and not even tell the truth.

This original review is just completely crazy. I've visited Karen's home several times so far, and this is in NO WAY A PUPPY MILL. It is just as she says, a family breeding a few litters a year, in her home. I have no reservations about my choice of breeder. I read the reviews before hand, and I met her, and saw for myself that she is exactly the breeder I was looking for. We are two weeks away from bringing our pup home, and I have been in contact with Karen even before our pup was born. She has been wonderful, and I would say now I even consider her my friend. She answers all my questions and sends us pictures everytime I ask for a new picture. I can't wait for our pup Fenway to come home with us, and I know he's going to be an amazing addition to our family. After having the dog for two days insisted he was given him all paperwork to this female dog. Our family purchased a Labrador puppy from white oak run Labradors in north dartmouth massachusetts a little over three years ago. When our boy was about two we noticed he occasionally would limp in the rear. We Initially were told it was nothing to worry about and was simple growing pains. As time progressed it got worse, to a point where he started to whimper when trying to getting up. We immediately took him in to our veterinarian to have him looked at. After a full physical exam she concluded xrays of his hind quarters would be required. They were very busy that day and had squeezed us in for only the exam. We returned the following afternoon to have them done after not sleeping well. He was eventually diagnosed to have debilitating hip dysplasia on his left hind hip joint. We were told this condition would only get worse as time passed without surgical intervention. Our options were to consult with an orthopedic surgeon to either get a hip replacement. Or to remove his hind rear leg. Needless to say our only option was to get our baby's hip replaced. After a good referral and spending $2,500. dollars plus tons of own rehabilitation time we now have our baby back. Unfortunately we were told he most likely will develop arthritis in his hind area as he ages. Our orthopedic specialist said for such a young dog to have this it was inherited from the parents. Genetics are the leading cause of this type of debilitating hip dysplasia not only in Labradors but many large bone dogs. He said when dogs develop this in their later years it's mainly caused from injuries over their lifetime similar to athletes. Sadley we were told judging from the xrays it's likely our baby will need his other hip replaced by the time he's five. We love our baby dearly and paid good money for what we were told was a healthy genetically sound puppy. Tell me how in Gods green earth could this happen when the parents were supposedly health clearanced?
White Oak Run labradors - PUPPY MILL / KENNEL DOGS - LIAR!
White oak run labradors misleading website claims her labs are treated as family who live inside their house and "NOT KENNEL" dogs. Although you can't post photos here. Photo PROOF they are KENNEL DOG's can be seen on RIFF OFF REPORT that proves she's a LIAR. Also a neighbor and veterinarians told us their puppies are born outside in a kennel COUPE and not inside as she claims. Our labrador puppy when brought to our own veterinarian was sick with kennel cough, coccidia and giardia so far.
We purchased a puppy from white oak run labradors and would not recommend this breeder. After approximately two months our puppy began to limp. He was diagnosed having bilateral elbow dysplasia in both legs. Both back ankles with osteochondritis dissecans. So far our medical costs are well over $6,500.00 and rising. Also our puppy had Giardia the day we picked him up. When we complained about these genetic problems we were ignored. I can not believe anyone would continue to breed animals with these genetic disabilities. We have filed a formal complaint with AKC that will be reviewed by their animal protection services. Avoid her at all cost!
Claims of innocents by this breeder is unbelievable. Claims that countless bad reviews dating back from 2012 are from one person with some sort of a vendetta is simply ridiculous. We've done our own research and discovered numerous complaints not only here on Scamorg but on many other review sites. Google white oak run labradors reviews and see for yourself. On Riff Off report alone we counted 14 complaints not only about them selling sick puppies, hereditary problems, changing their kennel name but about being untrustworthy dating from May 2013. You would have to be ignorant to believe these are isolated incidents or manufactured reviews by one person over years. My heart go's out to all these poor innocent animals and their heartbroken families. I'm grateful these brave families have taken the time to speak for our furry friends who can't speak for themselves. Thank you
I can't believe this breeder has the audacity to try and distance herself from these peoples truths. We bought our lab puppy from her two years ago. We love our animals and give them the very best of everything with no expense spared. Our puppy seemed fine for approximately the first ten months. Then my husband I started noticing soft stool, some vomiting and her seemingly lethargic. We immediately took her to our veterinarian. After some tests and blood work she was diagnosed with the first stages of (chronic kidney disease) or renal failure. We were told her long term prognosis was going to be costly (if she survives) and may not be reversible. Naturally we were devastated, how could this ever happen? She was also suffering from severe dehydration (white pink gums) which was a result of her having diarrhea and vomiting. Our veterinarian inquired were we had got our puppy from. When we told him he cringed and shook his head. When asked, he explained because of doctor patient confidentiality he could not elaborate. I happened to know the secretary there. So on our way out, I asked to talk with her. She told me in confidentiality they have seen other puppies from this breeder with the same diagnoses along with other genetic problems for years. We could not believe what we were hearing. How could anyone be so heartless and breed dogs they know have these problems that are passed on to there pups. The warranty given does not pay for any vet bills. The warranty was only to return the puppy in exchange for another one. We would never consider getting another puppy from her. We love our baby and would never consider returning her knowing they would just put her down. How can anyone be so heartless? Our only hope now by posting this is to save other unsuspecting family's the pain we and our baby girl have endured. Shame on you!
I can tell you from my past experience with White Oak Run Labradors, that this is total bull. I have never met a breeder as experienced or helpful and caring as Karen. I have referred several people to them and have purchased a dog myself. I had a minor issue and brought our pup to the vet and all expenses were covered by Karen. So this is awful that people get to write this garbage. I happen to know the whole story here what happened with these people from North Adams and its a shame they can keep doing this to her.
Our family got a Labrador from Karen Lima of White Oak Run Labradors that was sick from the start. He had awful diarrhea right from the day we got him. He had to be put on heavy antibiotics which affected his kidneys and liver. Karen would not do anything for us and acted as if it was our fault. Every call we made she either didn't answer or we got a different story and a total run around. Our children's hearts along with ours were totally broken. I highly recommend not to deal with this breeder. I wish we had only done our research and discovered the numerous online complaints about her and looked else where. All we can hope for now is to save someone else from all the pain our family experienced dealing with her.

She claims all her adults and puppies are HEALTHY when it'd been documented by many licensed veterinarians they are sick or have some "SERIOUS GENETIC PROBLEMS". Yet she still continues to breed them. These poor innocent puppies born from parents she knows have "GENETIC PROBLEMS" and keeps turning them out and insensitively destroys peoples lives. She sells under aged puppies at six weeks old that will have TEMPERAMENT and SOCIALIZATION problems through out there shortened lifetime from being taken away from there mother and siblings far to young. She blocks her phone number and won't answer "RESTRICTED" call to avoid complaints about sick puppies. She also blocks your phone number so you can't contact her, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! If you do manage to get ahold of her and naturally are upset about your sick puppy SHE BLAMES YOU and NEVER TAKES RESPONSIBILITY for anything, it's all your fault. She won't offer and is reluctant to give your money back for the SICK PUPPY she sold you. At best only if you ask her she may give you part of your MONEY after she confers with her Lawyer. She NEVER pays for vet bills you occurred from the SICK puppy she sold you. She breeds for the $$$ MONEY with no regards to for animals or peoples lives.

We purchased our dog from White Oak Run Labradors 2 1/2 years ago. About a year or so ago, he started having issues with his nose. It became cracked and would bleed. The veterinarian diagnosed him with discoid lupus. It requires lifetime immunotherapy inclusive of antibiotics and vitamin supplements. This is a financial burden that we are willing to take on because we our dog. Fortunately, it is not life threatening, but it is visibly uncomfortable for him. This form of lupus is typically a genetic defect within a dog. Just by reading other reports, White Oak Run Labradors clearly is concerned only with making $950.00 per dog. White Oak Run Labradors are unconcerned with the happiness, health and welfare of these puppies.

Photo PROOF they are KENNEL DOG's can be seen on RIFF OFF REPORT that proves she's a LIAR. Also a neighbor and veterinarians told us their puppies are born outside in a kennel COUPE and not inside as she claims. Our labrador puppy when brought to our own veterinarian was sick with kennel cough, coccidia and giardia so far.
Diagnosed elbow dysplasia & Giardia
We purchased a puppy from white oak run labradors and would not recommend this breeder. After approximately two months our puppy began to limp. He was diagnosed having bilateral elbow dysplasia in both legs. Both back ankles with osteochondritis dissecans. So far our medical costs are well over $6,500.00 and rising. Also our puppy had Giardia the day we picked him up. When we complained about these genetic problems we were ignored. I can not believe anyone would continue to breed animals with these genetic disabilities. We have filed a formal complaint with AKC that will be reviewed by their animal protection services. Avoid her at all cost!

Claims of innocents by this breeder is unbelievable. Claims that countless bad reviews dating back from 2012 are from one person with some sort of a vendetta is simply ridiculous. We've done our own research and discovered numerous complaints not only here on Scamorg but on many other review sites. Google white oak run labradors reviews and see for yourself. On Riff Off report alone we counted 14 complaints not only about them selling sick puppies, hereditary problems, changing their kennel name but about being untrustworthy dating from May 2013. You would have to be ignorant to believe these are isolated incidents or manufactured reviews by one person over years. My heart go's out to all these poor innocent animals and their heartbroken families. I'm grateful these brave families have taken the time to speak for our furry friends who can't speak for themselves. Thank you
Chronic Kidney Failure Disease
I can't believe this breeder has the audacity to try and distance herself from these peoples truths. We bought our lab puppy from her two years ago. We love our animals and give them the very best of everything with no expense spared. Our puppy seemed fine for approximately the first ten months. Then my husband I started noticing soft stool, some vomiting and her seemingly lethargic. We immediately took her to our veterinarian. After some tests and blood work she was diagnosed with the first stages of (chronic kidney disease) or renal failure. We were told her long term prognosis was going to be costly (if she survives) and may not be reversible. Naturally we were devastated, how could this ever happen? She was also suffering from severe dehydration (white pink gums) which was a result of her having diarrhea and vomiting. Our veterinarian inquired were we had got our puppy from. When we told him he cringed and shook his head. When asked, he explained because of doctor patient confidentiality he could not elaborate. I happened to know the secretary there. So on our way out, I asked to talk with her. She told me in confidentiality they have seen other puppies from this breeder with the same diagnoses along with other genetic problems for years. We could not believe what we were hearing. How could anyone be so heartless and breed dogs they know have these problems that are passed on to there pups. The warranty given does not pay for any vet bills. The warranty was only to return the puppy in exchange for another one. We would never consider getting another puppy from her. We love our baby and would never consider returning her knowing they would just put her down. How can anyone be so heartless? Our only hope now by posting this is to save other unsuspecting family's the pain we and our baby girl have endured. Shame on you!

I can tell you from my past experience with White Oak Run Labradors, that this is total bull. I have never met a breeder as experienced or helpful and caring as Karen. I have referred several people to them and have purchased a dog myself. I had a minor issue and brought our pup to the vet and all expenses were covered by Karen. So this is awful that people get to write this garbage. I happen to know the whole story here what happened with these people from North Adams and its a shame they can keep doing this to her.

Our family got a Labrador from Karen Lima of White Oak Run Labradors that was sick from the start. He had awful diarrhea right from the day we got him. He had to be put on heavy antibiotics which affected his kidneys and liver. Karen would not do anything for us and acted as if it was our fault. Every call we made she either didn't answer or we got a different story and a total run around. Our children's hearts along with ours were totally broken. I highly recommend not to deal with this breeder. I wish we had only done our research and discovered the numerous online complaints about her and looked else where. All we can hope for now is to save someone else from all the pain our family experienced dealing with her.

DO NOT BE FOOLED by her misleading nice website with children and nice home for show. When infact it's just a front for her internet PUPPY MILL buisness. Just read all the other complaints about HER and her puppies. Portrays that her are born in her home when actually there raised in a filthy cold kennel out in her back yard. She won't let you see where ALL her dogs live, she lies and says she has a mother with new born pups which is an excuse so you can't see they filthy kennel they live in out back. She runs a PULLY MILL and deceives you into thinking her dogs live in her house when ONLY her personal pets do for display. All other dogs are constantly breed and live outside in a filthy kennel. She claims all her adults and puppies are HEALTHY when it'd been documented by many licensed veterinarians they are sick or have some "SERIOUS GENETIC PROBLEMS". Yet she still continues to breed them. These poor innocent puppies born from parents she knows have "GENETIC PROBLEMS" and keeps turning them out and insensitively destroys peoples lives. She sells under aged puppies at six weeks old that will have TEMPERAMENT and SOCIALIZATION problems through out there shortened lifetime from being taken away from there mother and siblings far to young. She blocks her phone number and won't answer "RESTRICTED" call to avoid complaints about sick puppies. She also blocks your phone number so you can't contact her, HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! If you do manage to get ahold of her and naturally are upset about your sick puppy SHE BLAMES YOU and NEVER TAKES RESPONSIBILITY for anything, it's all your fault. She won't offer and is reluctant to give your money back for the SICK PUPPY she sold you. At best only if you ask her she may give you part of your MONEY after she confers with her Lawyer. She NEVER pays for vet bills you occurred from the SICK puppy she sold you. She breeds for the $$$ MONEY with no regards to for animals or peoples lives.

We purchased our dog from White Oak Run Labradors 2 1/2 years ago. About a year or so ago, he started having issues with his nose. It became cracked and would bleed. The veterinarian diagnosed him with discoid lupus. It requires lifetime immunotherapy inclusive of antibiotics and vitamin supplements. This is a financial burden that we are willing to take on because we our dog. Fortunately, it is not life threatening, but it is visibly uncomfortable for him. This form of lupus is typically a genetic defect within a dog. Just by reading other reports, White Oak Run Labradors clearly is concerned only with making $950.00 per dog. White Oak Run Labradors are unconcerned with the happiness, health and welfare of these puppies.
