My family stayed here from 5/24 - 5/28 for a Disney vacation with our kids. The logistics was not good. We waited in a registration line for almost one hour before we found out that folks that were getting tours for the timeshare promotion should go to another line. While registering, we found out that the room type that we requested was not feasible on the ground floor. The customer service representative who made the reservation should have known that. Lastly, we arrived at the presentation 20 minutes late because there was no parking and we went to the wrong location. We automatically assumed that it was at the Welcome Center. No one told us that the presentation would be held in the Spa. We were told that we would need to attend the next presentation at 9 am or Noon. I told them that we already had paid activities. At that point, the manager Joanne starting stating very loudly that we were refusing the tour. At this point, I decided to call the Welcome Center which was the wrong answer because you can tell that they practice these tactics very well. The goal is to use bully tactics to goad the customer into purchasing a timeshare. The Welcome Center of course was no help. I called Corporate and tried to arrange to attend a presentation at 9:30 or noon that day or for the next day. Shylena at Corporate told me that her manager said that we could not attend and charged my debit card $895. Mind you, my family and I were on a budget so we only carried so much money. Unfortunately for us this tactic wiped out what we had in the bank for our Disney vacation and our way to get back home. But through the grace of God a friend was able to wire us what we needed to continue our vacation and to get back home. I would be very careful in making reservations at this resort. This could truly ruin your family's vacation if you're not careful. I plan to notify Disney of this situation and all other government and state agencies. In short, we want our $895 returned.
