Management clearly gave themselves brilliant reviews to upgrade previously poor ratings. I'll try and give an honest review, and not glamorize things. I've lived here for a few years now, and there aren't many who actually like living here contrary to what reviews say. It's more like Welcome to Hell. It's in your best interest to source a new trailer should wish to live here as the reconditioning of the old trailers are sub standard botched repair jobs. I have friends who live in some of the used trailers including myself. There are all kinds of issues. Mold, lack of working outlets, failed air-conditioners etc.... Some trailers have previous roach infestations. The community rules on their website are not followed by management, or most tenants. The only thing the management cares about is whether the lawn is mowed, and trimmed. They also care if your trash can is left out a day late. If you don't follow those rules they will fine you. $40 for mow and trim, and $10 if they have to put your trash can back. They have unreasonable pet charges up to $20 per month per animal. The vibe of the community is predominatly hispanic instead of an equal balance between races. There is no security, or any enforcement of community rules. The houses, driveways, and streets are jammed full of cars and people. There is constant revving of engines, parties, and very loud latino music all the time. I practically feel I'm in Mexico. Noise ordinances are not enforced whatsoever! There have been vehicles stolen,and vandalized. Kids dangerously play in the streets with no parental supervision. If you are trying to drive past them the kids just won't move half of the time. Furthermore If you think you have peace of mind with having a storm shelter in your community then know it's a false sense of security. There are 4 shelters which hold approximately 40 people, there are 250+ trailers on site, with very large families living in them. There are not enough shelters in the community to accomodate everyone, and the last storm people held the door closed from the outside so only the people they chose could get in. Also they supposedly do back ground checks. How are you going to obtain a background check when you don't even require social security numbers, or credit to obtain a home. No telling what sort of criminals we have living here. Management could care less about these issues or the welfare of their tenants. Frequent rent increases. Management (Jose and Adrienne) pretends that they care but they fail to deliver all the time. WelcomeHome Communities only goal is that they are here to make money. This place is an absolute disgusting joke,and disgrace.
