I have been a customer at Webster Bank for over 10 years. Over the last few years, I have been fighting with Webster with their fees they charge to customers which are deemed excessive. I had put an alert on my account which according to Webster and the representative I spoke with would alert me when my account balance was low or when there was insufficient funds to cover a transaction. What happened many times was that the notification wasn't sent, or that I calculated the money correct in the account but a misc fee would pop up that would put the account in overdraft. I was once charged $37.00 for a $1.99 transaction. Webster refused to hear about reversing that charge. Recently, a company who had a judgement against me (unknown to me) went into my account with a natural execution order. They did this twice. The second time was in error and after to speaking with the attorney they refunded the money taken out by them but could not refund the sheriff's fees. I then learned Webster charged me a $100 fee plus overdraft fees taken due to this error. When the original transactions were made, there was more than enough funds in the bank to cover them and they were covered until Webster reversed them for the natural execution. Now I am fighting Webster to either return the $100 for the processing fee, or return my 2 overdraft fees.

I am really starting to hate them.
