Scam SEO company who went through fast growth and now are trying to 'legitimise' their product.
They advertise fake reviews, fake testimonials, engage in trying to legally intimidate posters who leave bad reviews on the grounds of malicious falsehood and cry the victim.
They advertise as number 1 SEO company according to topseos.com - this is a scam itself and Google has de-indexed it. This is a 'pay-for-position' review and is used to manipulate unsuspecting potential clients into thinking they are the best.
Their number 1 position guarantees are rubbish - here is how they work:
1. Give client excessive keywords they don't need (most with little to no traffic)
2. Do little to no work and rank the website for the easy keywords with no competition or traffic
3. Meet guarantee on poor keywords
4. Stop working on the account for the rest of the contractual period as they have met their minimum contractual obligation.
Here are some other interesting points:
1. They pay HUGE commissions to their sales staff.
2. Huge staff turnover
3. They engage in complete black-hat SEO

It is well documented on Whirlpool forums that WME do indeed engage in fake reviews, blog spam and deceptive conduct - even faking news articles that never existed. Many clients have successfully taken their case to VCAT.
Among the fake reviews they use as 'testimonials' are fake negative reviews of those who have anything negative to say about WME - such as here :

I am amazed this company hasn't been fined out of existence by regulatory bodies.
Bottom line is - WME is morally bankrupt and have demonstrated they cannot be trusted.
