One of several emails I have received. If you follow the directions you are required to submit a credit report before you can begin work and even if you back out or close the window without filling in your information you become inundated with schools calling you for admissions and telemarketers. And if you say, 'No' they do jot stop they just change the name of the person sending these false and erroneous emails!

I received an email from Kathy Smart on the morning of June 4, claiming interest in my job applications.
"Good news, you're the lead candidate for the recruiter position in our Orlando office. However, several financial services companies are interested in you as well. By law, I have to make you aware of all your employment options! Can you select the job(s) that interests you the most? I will give you a call afterwards. Thanks (recipient's name)...talk to you in a few!

After receiving this email I have recieved two emails, later within the same day of June 4, from a differnet company about a job offer that I have no record of applying for directly, but vaguely reminiscient of actual applications I had recently viewed. They claimed I would be contacted by phone and that did not occur. I am checking to see if the company is a subset of an actual application I completed or an unfortunate spam distraction. The fact that there was a time limit to sign the job offer reminds me of mystery shopping scams, but I'm waiting for feedback from the contact on the two later emails before posting those as well. There was not an established connection between the two, where one recommends or supports the other, except that they both mentioned that they are interested in me for work in an office position.
This company will send you an e-mail with a promise on a job lead. Usually you have to act fast and they will promise a large salary and tha phone interview. THIS IS FAKE. Once you get all your info squared away they promise a phone interview. Someone will call you trying to get in enrolled in school; the guy I talked to did not know anything about a job offer he said he only got a e-mail saying I was interested in school so he called me.
It is fustrating becuase when you are looking for work any leads are exciting and good news but when you find out it is a fake you get alittle discouraged; at least I did. Any how I just unsubscribed to the emails so that should put a stop to that.
You can thank me later (smile)! You are now set-up for the Assistant Office Manager position at LabCorp, working in their Orlando screening office. Go online to complete the credit requirements for this position. Can you make to the office tomorrow for a meeting at 10:00AM?

Today, I received an email from someone named Kelly Smart about a position with Aetna and that she and the director of Human Resources at Aetna wanted to interview via phone conference tomorrow. The email then asked me for my credit score in order to obtain the job. I have worked in staffing for several years and I know that is not the way it works. Below is the body of the email.
Congratulations! You're scheduled for a conference call with the human resource director at Aetna Healthcare and myself for tomorrow. I told Maggie (HR director), that you would finally submit your credit information today - it's the only reason why she's interested in hiring you for their Washington office. So submit your credit info immediately...I need it NOW! I will call you at 301- afterwards to confirm a time for tomorrow.
Contacted via e-mail by Kelly smart regarding a job interview with Aetna. Bugged me to get my credit score to them and provided link to get my supposed free report which requires a Credit card and my personal information which I didn't provide No phone number is listed for Kelly. Now she will not email or call me . I called Aetna and they are not hiring and never heard of we hire. This is a scam. Her email had a very fake picture attached.
