Busienss agreed to an electronic contract via a text message. Worked 19 hours for business, writing 10 articles, editing 17 articles written by others and answering countless non-related questions for owner. After completed work on 9/16, owner said he no longer wanted to pay the agreed-upon amount going forward, but invited me to contract at a lesser rate going forward, which I declined. Now the owner has refused to pay me for the hours invoiced, stating he doesn't believe I worked those hours (although I have electronic correspondance and timestamped Word documents showing that I was working during those hours). Owner offered to pay me 1/3 of the total amount due, a settlement I would not accept. Now owner is refusing any payment. During the times I was working, owner never complained about quality or quantity of work.
