I was tryng to retreive my savings catcher money onto a bluebird walmart card to receive double the money when i went on tothe site and scolled down it clicked egiftcard instead of bluebird card, So i tried and tried to find the number to contact the saving catcher dept. Finally gave up and called the regular customer number who transferred me to the dept. I was feeling relieved for exactly two second when an agent by the namevof LaChassidy anwered and i explained my problem and proceeded to tell me im sorry there is nothing we can do, so i said can i please speak to a supervisor and she said he is in a meeting and i said u have to have one on duty its the law then she said let me check again and i got nowhere again. So she said i can take ur number and he can cal u back and we all know what that means (go screw yourself). I said no i need a supervisor and said there is not another one here and i was mad. I asked her for her last name which she refused then asked for an ID number which she refused. I saidu know what i need to talk to one now and ill wait as long as i have to. SHe was typing everything i said or she was setting up a dating profle cuz she sure wasnt interested in what i was saying. She finally said oh i think hes out now hold please. So again i waited here it is 43 min in. I was finally transferred to a supervisor named Aaron who i immediatly asked do u have a ID number i can have or can u not give urs either and he said we are always suppose to give them and i said really well ur agent said she coudlnt and wasnt going to, he then stated ill address that, So i went on with the reason i called he then said.there is nothing we can do and i said really all this mess that i have been through just to talk to u and you say there is nothing you can do. I was furious by this point and said so do other people call about this and he said all the time but there isnt anything i can do to reverse this. I hung up after that. I believe that if i am not the only one calling about this then there is a problem. Maybe have a confirm b utton after choosing your method to receive your money. How about a lilttle care in the business. Walamrt savings catcher is a ripe off and needs to be tweeked. I believe in taking care of your customers. I guess Walmart doesnt. I would bet that even this report wont do any good for me or anybody but if i can help one person then this was all worth it.
I bought a Wal-Mart Money Card from a local store so that I could do Direct Deposit with my employer. From day ONE I have had problems with this company (GreenDot). Now they are literally holding my money (over $500) hostage and giving me NO WAY TO ACCESS IT AT ALL! There are MANY other reports about similar situations with this company out there, WHOS GOING TO STOP THEM??
First Thing: When you purchase this Money Card at Wal-Mart it is packaged in such a way that you can NOT read the Terms/Conditions that you are agreeing to until after you've opened the package (but you have to buy it before you can do that). Is that illeagle or just mis-leading? My biggest problem with that was that when I purchased the card I also loaded my paycheck on to it (which they advertise the card's fee being waived if you do so) BUT THE TERMS say that you can only pull $100 out per day until your permanent card gets there. I HAD BILLS TO PAY! Customer service told me that there was nothing they could do to raise my withdrawl limit and that no managers were available.
Second Thing: Over 2 Full Weeks Go By and I have not yet recieved my permanent card in the mail. I call customer service, the autimated system directed me to have a replacement card sent and verified that I'd have that 7-10 business days. I call back the next day and get a live representative on the phone where they confirmed that the card was being processed and that I should have it in 7-10 business days. I asked for priority shipping but they refused, said nothing like that was available.
Third Thing: A MONTH GOES BY (Now 6/3/14) I call and talk to customer service, explain that I still have not recieved my card (and am upset by now obviously) they ask if there is an alternate address that they can send my card. I agree to allow them to send it to my employers address, they assure me that I'll have it in 7-10 business days.
Most Recent: I tried using my card on 6/12/14 and am declined for my purchase at a retailer. I call customer service, first thing that happened is that the autimated system said that it could not locate my account and would hang up on me, after about 4 calls I finally get thru to a representative using other information to trick the system (not my info). The representative told me that my there was a problem processing my replacement card on 6/3 and that it was just processed on 6/11/14 and that I should expect this card by 6/25/14. FURTHERMORE they advised me that they CANCELED my TEMP CARD and that I would not have access to my account until my new card comes in the mail (Which I've been waiting for over 2 months now).
The representative again saiid that no manager was available but did say that their corporate office is located in MONROVIA, CA. I started calling around at this point. INTERESTING THING HAPPENED! I talked to the STORE MANAGER AT WALMART (# 3799 IRMA) and she told me that they've pulled these Walmart/GreenDot Cards off of their shelves due to a reason relating to FRAUD but had no more information about that.

I called thinking it was the US Department of Labor and there was a promotion going on, of giving away $100 gist card that can be used in stores like Walmart, Target, etc. with a $1.95 payment fee using your visa or mastercard, Do not fall for this scam! It is a fraud!
I go in every sunday and do my shopping. They were continuesly out of product I by weekley. I started by telling the assistant managers and it did no good. I then went to the store manager and it did no good. I was also finding mispriced product and one time a week later the wronge price hadn't been changed. One day in the store I ran into the manager and we had a disscussion about the problems. Because I had told him about items they were out of and mispriced product he comes up to me and says "If we make you so unhappy around here why do you bother coming back".
I called the district office and complained and found that they just send the complaint back to the store manager. He is the one your complaining about. When I found out that that was what was happening I called the District Manager and was told he would call me back in no more than three days. Six days later I calleh and asked to speak to his boss because the District Manager hadn't called me. Four days later and asked who was next in line, after no call back from the Distric Managers and was told I would have to write a letter to the Presidents office.
While I was writing the letter the Distric Manager called me because the girl I got the Presidents address from e-mailed him. He told me the reason he didn't call me was because he had talked with the store manager and figured the complaint had been taken care of. What doesn't he get about call backs. When someone tells me this person is going to call me back in three days, I expect a call in no more than three days, period. It was now 10 days.
So now I write a two page letter to the presidents office detailing all the problems on 6/16/2014 and as of today 7/19/2014 I haven't heard a word from anyone. I did find that the letter was now kicked back to the Distric Managers and he was also in the complaint. We are now at the poin of the defination of insanity. "Keep doing the same things over and over and expecting a different outcome".
Self policeing hasen't worked since before Christ, so if you have a problem at Walmart, don't plan on anything happening unless you just happen to get someone that really cares, i didn't. I was told once by the Distric Manager that I was a valued customer. I said don't tell me, show me. Well I guess they did by doing nothing. Yes, they'er still out of as many as four items I buy every week and I'm just one person.
Steer clear of the Haslet, Texas Walmart deli food. I contracted salmonella after eating popcorn shrimp from there. Been sick. Almost 3 weeks now With lots of doctor visits & medications. Will have to see doctor again, still sick.
