Wable offers cheap VPS hosting, and sounds like a great deal. However, you truly get what you pay for. I had two VPS' with them each running a different website. One of the sites got a lot of traffic and likely used a decent amount of bandwidth, (mind you Wable claims to have un-metered bandwidth). About 4 months into my service with them I noticed the high traffic site was running really slow, a few days later it was completely unreachable. I contacted support and was told that the site was being DDOS'd, which I thought was pretty unlikely as it had never happened before to any of my sites. They told me to delete the VPS and not run that site on their servers, I thought it was odd to blame the site owner for a DDOS, it's not like I would run a DDOS against my own site. In any case, I complied and moved the site to another provider and deleted the VPS.
A few days later I noticed my other site was going slow, and then like the first it became unbelievable. I again contacted support and was told that they deleted my account. I asked why, and they said that I was supposed to delete my account with the first VPS (they never said that). I was also told that they notified me an HOUR before deleting my account, they did in fact do that, but they notified me via their internal ticket system which did not send a notification to my e-mail. In other words I would have had to be logged into my account on their site during that hour to see it, which is a ridiculous expectation. When I discovered that my account was deleted I contacted them again and asked for the opportunity to at least get my data back, I was then told that they would re-enable my account so that I could get my data off the VPS, this never happened. I have sent them numerous request to enable my account so that I can get my data back, but the e-mails go unanswered. After several requests I made a negative comment about their service on their support forum, shortly there after I got a threatening phone call from presumably the owner telling me not to lie online.
I have never seen nor heard of a more unprofessional thing from a company. I would avoid them like the plague, they lie about their services, delete your data without notice, and will call and harass you if you say negative things about them. In my opinion what really happened was that I was using too much bandwidth for their liking so instead of simply telling me I was using too much bandwidth, they make up a lie that it was being DDOS'd so that they can still claim to have un-metered bandwidth. I also have not recieved a refund for the unused time, when they deleted my account.
