Vivd seats is using the old "BAIT and SWITCH" scheme when you buy their tickets to rip you off on the seats you order through their internet sight. Beware that what you are paying for is definitely not what you are going to get. They will sell a ticket to an event that shows the section and seat number of the tickets you are ordering. What you will receive will be the cheapest general admission tickets to the event and you will end up with out a seat assisgnement and standing in the hallway to watch the event standing up. I believe this activity to be illeal and I can guarantee you will not be able to get your money back. If your purchase was made with a credit card and you dispute the charges and cancel payment, Vivid seats has their scheme perfected and your credit card company will honor their charges and you will have to pay the disputed amount. Stay away from their internet site and order your tickets through ticket masters or another well know reliable site that you are familiar with or that you have receivd a good recommendation form a reliable source. Please help stamp out these types of rip off internet sites and put these guys out of business.
I live in Massachusetts and planned a road trip to CLeveland Ohio. On the first day I arrive I wanted to attend a concert at the House of Blues. I found tickets on vividseats.com entitled "Zone seating." I called Vivid seats customer service to clarfiy that "zone seating" actually entailed a physical seat rather than general admission or standing room only. Further I requested clarification that if I bought two tickets they would be adjacent to each other and not simply in the same section. The customer service represenative assured that they were indeed physical seats and would be next to each other. She said they just could not guarantee the section but that the seats would be adjacent. This was extremley important to me as I would be driving to Cleveland and would have no desire to stand after an 11 hour drive. When I receieved my e tickets two days later, I received 2 General Admission standing room only tickets. I contacted customer support and spoke with Shana, a supervisor. She flatly refused to refund my ticket purchase or provide actual seated tickets. I asked her to pull the recored call where they stated there would be actual seats and she again flatly refused. She was extremly rude, and when I informed her I would contact the Better Business Bureau her response was "Well now I definetly can't help you!" If the original agent had not advised me that I would receive seats, I would not have purchased the zone seating option, as this cost twice as much as buying a general admission standing room ticket. So essentially I overpaid a great deal for tickets to stand at a concert. The original agent and the website were misleading and the second agent was rude and completely unhelpful. Do not deal with these people.
I first got in touch with Vivid after waiting 8 days to be paid for tickets I sold. The buyer received the tickets and paid on the 4th, it is the 12th now and I do not have the money Vivid owes me. When I contacted them asking why I had not been paid (it is a paypal electronic payment and shouldnt take more than 24 hours) they were not interested in helping me. When I demanded to speak with a manager, the online chat rep asked me if "this" phone number was the beest one to reach me. They gave me the buyers pphone number!! I texted the buyer to let him/her know what they had done and that they violated his/her rights of privacy as staed in the contract. When I told Vivid I had text the buyer, they told me they did nothing wrong and if I wanted to threaten them with an attorney then they will not speak to me. So they disconnected the chat and now nobody will tell me why I am not being paid. Thank you vivid for ripping me off!
I called Vivid Seats on 5/4/15 and they told me that the seller could not have the ticket re-printed so there was nothing they could do. I contacted the Manager at the box office at Taco Bell Arena today 5/13/15 and she told me to have Vivid Seats contact the seller and have the seller contact her directly and she would re-print the ticket. I immediately contacted Vivid Seats and spoke to a Manager there (Marlerry C.) and she told me that the seller called the box office on 5/4/15 and they told him there was nothing they could do. That was a flat out lie, I was on the phone with Vivid Seats on 5/4/15 and it took a matter of 1 minute for them to ask the seller to re-print and the seller said no. I re-iterated what the box office Manager told me to Marlerry C. at Vivid Seats and all it would take is the seller to contact the Manager at the box office directly and the ticket would be re-printed. Marlerry at Vivid Seats refused to contact the seller. What a rip-off and where is the good faith in this company. I have reported them to the BBB and my next reporting is the Attorney General's office in Illinois. Shame on Vivid Seats and I hope this complaint saves someone else from losing their money as well.
I purchased a ticket on 2/27/15 to the Luke Bryan concert that is to be held in Boise, ID on 5/14/15 at Taco Bell Arena. I recently moved and misplaced my concert ticket. I called Vivid Seats on 5/4/15 and explained my situation and to see if there was anyway to have the ticket re-printed. The customer service rep said they would contact the seller right then and see; within one minute the rep got back on the line and said the seller would not re-print the ticket and there is nothing thta can be done in this situation. I contacted the Taco Bell Arena box office today (5/13/15) and spoke to the Manager of the box office and she told me to have Vivid Seats contact the seller and have the seller contact the Manager at the box office directly and she would re-print the ticket. She gave her direct line to have the seller call. I immediately contacted Vivid Seats and spoke to a Manager there who said that basically again there was nothing they could do. She told me the seller contacted the box office on 5/4/15 and the box office told them they could not re-print the ticket. That is a complete lie, the rep at Vivid Seats on 5/4/15 took a matter of 1 minute to contact the seller and the seller refused. I told the Manager at Vivid Seats today that they just needed to contact the seller and have him contact the Manager at the box office on her direct line and she would re-print the ticket. Vivid Seats refused. I in good faith purchased through Vivid Seats and that was a huge mistake. They do not care about the customer and will provide no assistance. I will never again use there service and will discourage anyone I come in contact to use their service as well. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and will also file with the Attorney General's Office in Illinois.
Tried to find Luke Bryan Tickets for sale in Spokane Valley. Stumbled upon Vivid Seats followed directions 103.00 was the ticket price shown for the upper level. Next step was to enter credit card information and billing information thee was no total shown before purchase. I was waiting for the next screen to pop up like amazon, ebay, and a million other sites for you to confirm full total before purchase. The next page displayed was for a full total with break down of all fees but your card was already charged before agreed to full purchase price. 1st page shows unit price of 103.00 there is no break down of service fee taxes or download able fee before you agree. Again this is only shown once you enter your credit informaton. Total fraud tried calling cusotmer service line Nina tried to say it showed on the left hand side before purchase. Once I told her that, that is not possible bcause you have to enter your billing information before anything she stated "your not letting me speak" I would say I am listening go ahead and speak and again she would say it was on the left hand side of the screen and again I would say how was it there when it was asking for billing and shipping info and of course again she would say your not letting me speak.. So again I said tell me, tell me what you mean then she said its in the terms and agreement so I question their terms show a break down on price and she said no its on the left side of your screen... She is only right in once sense.. and that is yes it does show you the break down and price but that is AFTER you have already been charged. I asked to speak to someone else because she kept saying are you going to let me explain and her explanation is noted above. She said there was no one else to talk to only her. I hung up and called back and all of a sudden they were closed. I am filling with the BBB and already with my bank as fraud as I was not shown a total purchase price before agreeing to pay. This company took my money based on seat price and not disclosing their additional 50.00 service fee and 13.00 download fee... I would have never agreed to this being that the areana charges 69.75 a ticket and they are trying to charge double the fee ........ I called my bank to say this is fraud as we didnt agree to a total purchase price first.. They just charge you right away so you cannot 2nd guess or disagree with them before charged// Total fraud and this will be reported w/ the BBB - how they can say they are accreidted with so many complaints I have no clue..
Vivid Seats is a total fraud. Purchased concert tickets for $600 only to find out that they were duplicate tickets and that we were scammed. Called Vivid and they gave me the run around. Refused to refund my money and claimed that there was nothing they could do without a deinal of access report. I filed the report that day and have not heard from them since. They do not answer their calls or their emails. They flag your phone number so that they can avoid complaining customers! The venue said that they see fake/duplicate Vivid tickets nightly. DO NOT USE!!!!
Avoid this group like the plague. I placed an order 1/13/2015 for 3 tickets to a March 4th spring training game down in Phoenix. According to one email that they sent me, the "estimated shipping or email date" is 2/28/2015. The word "estimated" is vague and basically means that if your order doesn't arrive on said date, then maybe it will arrive on another date (probably "estimated"). The confirmation that they sent read that "you will receive an email typically by the next business day with a link to download your tickets." The key word here is "typically," which translates into "usually," which most like means sometime in the future. Last night, I chatted with an agent, who provide absolutely no guarantee that my ticket would arrive by a specific date. (In other words, there's no guarantee). Again, I spoke to one of the "managers" today, and was assured that my tickets would be marked next day delivery by Fed Ex--as the manager explained, that could mean at the end of the week or early next week or.... In other words, their business practices are deceptive and, legally speaking, a form of lying to the customer. It's clear Vivid Seats is a scam. Now, a question for you: how do I know that you're not part of Vivid Seats, cooperating in an obvious scam and making money of customers who are suckered into the Vivid Seats web site? What arouses my suspicion is the immediately following question: "Did Vivid Seats ask you to write this review?" You provide a box to check but fail to provide the "Yes" or "No" choice. Any reputable business, run by people of normal intelligence, would have provided that option.
After watching Sunday Morning and seeing that Fleetwood Mac was coming to town I thought I'd check out ticket availability. I went online and a company by he nane of Vivid Seats poped up so I started checking for tickets. OMG! They had tickets available inPittsburgh for Oct 14th. I was so excited. I called my husband to make sure he wanted to go with me and he did. I reviewed ticket prices and there was 2 tickets for $177. Great! service fee $7.00. Ok so I booked them. Then I see a total on the screen for $459??? I did not download the tickets. OMG! After 1/2 hr on hold I ended up getting a call back. Each ticket was $177. All sales are final and they charge $96 for their services I can sell those tickets if I want to. OMG!!!
After searching for tickets to the styx concert at the hard rock casino in biloxi missippi, i found reserved seating tickets through vivid seats. i purchased 2 upper balcony seats for about $100 per ticket. they were e-mailed to me in a few days and i printed them out.
Imagine my surprise the night of the concert when i handed the tickets to the event staff and was told they were general admission, standing room only, floor tickets. (the same tickets through ticketmaster are about $60 per.)
I am 57 years old, 5' 4' tall, and have spinal stennosis. standing for an hour and a half behind much taller people is very painfull and not at all enjoyable. it's a good thing styx had some large overhead screens to watch the show on because i couldn't see the stage.
Needless to say i was ripped-off by vivid seats for selling me one thing(at a highly inflated price) and delivering another. i obviously will never use vivid seats again. i think they owe me a partial refund and an apology.

I bought concert tickets through Vivid seats 2 months ahead of a Jack White concert in LA.
Vivid notified me 24 hours in advance of the show to let me know the seller lost the tickets, therefore, I would be receiving a refund.
Due to the last minute notice, it is impossible to get new tickets and I will miss the show.
This is a very porrly managed operation who you should not depend on to receive your ticket. You may get them and you may not.
Vivid took zero resonsibility for the lost tickets.
Seems the seller sold them for a high ticket price and simply decided to opt out of their commitment to Vivid.
Vivid is badly mismanaged
Stub Hub would be a much better opetion for after market tickets.
