There must be no such thing as customer service at Virgin Mobile. I had to hang up on "customer service" of Virgin Mobile USA after 2 hours of dealing with their BS on how they can't take back a brand new phone if it's after 14 days (their policy). The phone was a present from my dad to my daughter-she received it April 2. It's been less than 30 days. She has been with the company for years. But this phone was too complicated-she couldn't use it and stuck it back in the box. I assumed she was going to handle the return. I also assumed she had 30 days to do it. She is a teenager and either lost track of time or assumed I was doing it. The supervisor on the other end of the line was the 2nd. After the first supervisor was in the middle of making a deal with me, the call dropped and the second supervisor was a big jerk, totally mean and wouldn't even try to deal with me, let alone be cordial. I told him I'm going to the credit card company and hung up.
This is very shocking and not a good customer service. My Virgin Mobile telephone number just got suspended with no warning through the phone or email. I woke up today 5/29/2014 to use my phone and it did not work. I received the following text message at 7:01am from "9230: you are currently not allowed to use this service. Please contact customer care support. Msg 2126.
I called the first Customer service agent at 7:03am Thursday May 29th 2014 for 0 minute 6 secs. I spoke to James who advised me to check my account in another hour that I should be able to reactivate the account. I went online as advised by James but I could not log into my account anymore. There was an error message "The account can't be assessed at this time"
James the CS agent advised me to check back in one hour. I checked back at 8:55am and the account still showed the same error message. At this point I called 18883221122 and got to speak to David eho told me point blank that there is nothing they can do. He said I violated service conditions by talking too much on the phone. I was shocked. I had an Unlimited phone plan with this company and I have been with them for more than 12 years. I felt cheated because the company waited until my new month started on May 23rd 2014 and cut me off after paying $70 for the month. David said I should go to another provider and gave me my Port/Account number that they cannot be my provider anymore. JUST LIKE THAT
I have since gone to another provider but I felt like been slapped on the face for no justifiable cause. I even pleaded that I have 5 lines with them with my internet. David said they will have to cancel all my lines. WOW!!
Im disabled and I picked virgin mobile for my cell use, becauseit best meet my needs. When I started having problems, they. Pretended to be trying to help but nothing. I have lost over 2,000.00 dollars than I could not afford to have lost. I feel so violated by someone i trusted to be my cellular help, i just want my phone to work and them to keep their promises.
