The sales tactic of Vida is "bait and switch". I was offered some "deals" in exchange for a "90 minute sales presentation" at the resort. The resort is beautiful and the free buffet was great, but that is where the fun time ended. The presentation went a full two very painful hours as multiple sales people were brought to our table, all of which loved drawing stupid boxes and wasting our precious vacation time in their futile attempt to sell us memberships into the Vida Vacation Club. It went from a prolonged laboring in sales to pure harassment as they would not accept "no". I looked about this large room of guests stuck at tables with sales people, none of them looked happy, like we were all being led to slaughter. It was hellish! When we finally escaped, we met up with other "escapees" in a van they put all the "resistance" in and shared horror stories of our experience. We should be given a t shirt saying "survivor of Vida Sales!
