We received an invitation by mail to explore a "new" travel planning service. We watched the presentation and thought that this might be worthwhile for us. We love to SCUBA dive and were looking for easier ways to acquire 7 day resorts.
So, we bought the plan and I wanted to try to use it right away as were were beginning to plan a trip to Florida with our 13 yr old granddaughter. Well, we couldn't use it right away because we had to have member login information. (available a few days later). The expensive, beautiful brochure they gave us was utterly useless! Their website was a joke containing the same photos and info as the brochure.
We were assigned a "concierge" with whom I was in contact almost daily. All he really did was ask me where we wanted to go. This was a very easy trip, Orlando, Florida, Rental car, Hotel, Universal Studios tickets, Crystal River, Fl for Manatee diving. I basically ended up planning the whole thing myself. Other than airfare he booked for us, which I let him do because it was the same as what I'd found, he really did nothing. I was so frustrated and ended up with a supervisor who was very nice but still kept asking me where did I want to stay? My understanding was that they would find hotels in our price range that would be better than what we could book. This was a totally untrue. I could book on the internet everything they could for the same and in soime cases for less than they could.
I sent 3 emails and wrote 2 letters and received absolutely no response. We were unable to get anyone on the phone after the first call we made.
In the letter we requested our money back and our timeshare back. They never did continue the process of changing it into their name.
