I got a call on Febuary 13th 2015. A lady said that she works for chase, and call is being recorded. She was calling to collect a doubt for Verizon bill. I tried to tell her that I was paying on it, and then she that a different collection agency had bought the bill. I told her that I just made a payment of 50 dollars, and my next payment is next month. She told me that I could pay it off today for $88.46. She asked for my debt card number, and I did. After I hung up the phone I called my branch to stop the payment, and they said that they cannot stop the payment because I gave her my debt card number. The phone number on my bank statement is 1-800-622-0484 with the company name Chase Receivables. I hope with my help we can stop these people from scramming other people.
