I bought a car at Velocity Auto Connection. The car needed a wheel bearing and some small part I was told. I had a 2 week warranty. I was told to bring the car back in 3 days to be repaired. I brought the car back and waited in their office for an hour and then was told that the wheel bearing was fixed but the car needed a catalytic converter. They said they would put a new catalytic converter on when the tags were due for free. I felt ok about the deal. Then the car blew a headgasket. I towed it to Velocity and they said they couldn't look at it for a few days. I called in a few days and they said it would cost $1,000 to fix it. Then I went down there to get it in writing and they changed the quote to $1,280. Then I called them a couple of days later and they said it could be higher after putting it in writing. A guy at my church said that if they seemed shady to take it somewhere else. I towed it to another place and had it fixed and was told it needed that same wheel bearing fixed. I called Velocity and asked why I was lied to about it being fixed and the owner Chris said I should be grateful that I got such an inexpensive car and that he wasn't going to fix it because I didn't let them fix the headgasket! Then he just hung up. So I got ripped off by this company because I have to pay for these parts to be fixed elsewhere. If I hadn't paid cash for the car and had payments then I would stop the payments. I got taken!!! I was lied to!!! I feel so stressed and ripped off that I've lost sleep over this whole nightmare. NEVER BUY A CAR FROM THESE CROOKS. This place should be put out of business. I'm so dissappointed that people can be so greedy and dishonest.
