Vanessa Moore hired the professional Services of Steel Drum player Francis Lynch in January 2014. Mr. Lych showed up at the Wedding Reception on time and played for the reception, including the piece for the Bridal March. In fact Mr. Lynch played over the agreed time, per Ms. Moore's request. Ms. Moore gave Mr. Lynch a personal check in the amount of $150, drawn against CitiBank. Mr. Lynch submitted the check for payment through his Chase bank account. The check was returned as Non-Sufficient Funds (NSF).
Mr. Lynch attempted to contact Ms. Vanessa Moore via the number she gave him when she solicited his services, however she did not respond. Mr. Lynch mailed her a letter in March 2004, to which he attached the copy of the returned check from the bank, demanding replacement funds of $150 plus $35 for the NSF fees. To date Ms. Moore has not made good with the payment.
Mr. Lynch is a 79 year old man who uses his talent and gift as a professional musician to subsidize his social security earnings for his daily needs. It is extremely sad that Ms. Vanessa Moore exploited him, by defrauding him out of the payment for the services rendered to her at her wedding reception.
