I am a very sick man and elderly. I am in a wheelchair, I have had several heart attacks and I have Emphysema. I hired her as my assistant and gave her power of attorney on my finances. I suffered a lost at my home in Chicago and my Insuance company sent her over $40,000.00 in July 2011. It is January 2012 and she has not sent my check. The insurance company said the check has been cashed.
She has taken advantage of my illness. My home is still in disrepair for a year now and is also vacant. She will not return any of my calls and simply stole the money. She is taking advantage of me because she thinks I am about to die and then no one will ever know. I have reported her to the Police and FBI. My doctor says I can't be stressed out and I must take care of myself.
I am still paying a mortgage on a property that is condemned and vacant and can't afford to pay for the work out of pocket because I am on a fixed income and disabled and I am bed bound.
