I posted craigslist ad in the gigs for content writer. My company urgently needed a content writer for one of my clients who owns a tobacco store in EU. Rose Marie Taylor (Rosilene Taylor) from Fort Wayne Indiana replied and said the following: “Hello, I am not sure if you still need a content writer but I have been freelancing for several years now and have covered a large array of content. I have just completed work for a client in the exact same arena and would know exactly what you needed. I also have proficient knowledge of bitcoin as I have covered that several times as well. When working with the other company, I was able to provide 20/500 word documents per day, every day. I accept payment only through PayPal and my rate is $15/500 but negotiable. Please contact me if you need high quality work done. Rose” – we agreed on the price of $10 per 500 words and I created huge order – 50,000 words of text asking Rose to deliver 5,000 per day if possible, if not, let me know.
She agreed and work began. First, about 10,000 words were good, just enough for me to trust her. After that was simply a rip off taking place. It was Christmas and New Year and I got carried away, partying and all that, trusting her and not checking on what she is doing. In the mean time she did not stop delivering and asking for more money. Knowing that I will not be checking. At some point at the beginning car accident happen (which happens with every scam artist), hardship story etc…. Anyway, when I got back to work on Jan 5, 2015, I started posting her content, trusting her, because of good beginning. When I realized that it was “bait and switch” kind of scam, I was $2,000 in it. When I confronted her about the fact that her text is either gibberish or spun. She replied surprised and blamed it on me first saying that I distributed thiscontent and not her, so she accused me of copying content etc… After that when I showed her 100% match of text with wikki, she backed off and started blaming someone who worked for her. Basically what they do is take one article and use spinning software similar to Kontent Machine, Article Builder and such. If you have products of similar type, these scammers simply write one copy and spin it 1000s of times. Every time on the surface it looks good and it passes Copyscape.com checks for plagiarism. For web content it’s a web site killer. Google Panda update is specifically designed to destroy sites with such content. When I realized it, I have posted already 10000 or more of words of this garbage. I started looking more and more in to this and not only it was spun, later articles were simply cut and paste from wikki (as I mentioned above), dictionary.com and other sites. So anyway,
Rosilene Taylor of Unremarkably Remarkable replied to me saying, oh… this and that writer did that. I asked, shouldn’t you as provider must filter things like that out before you deliver it to me (the client)? She replied no, it’s your job to tell me that. After that the usual story. She said I will refund you. I went ahead and started the dispute process for the articles I thought were complete gibberish and being nice enough, I did not dispute what I felt was written properly. She replied that she will issue a refund, but for some reason refund did not appear. I escalated it to a pay pal claim and that’s when I realized that she never meant to refund. She switched her story again saying that she needs an accountant, she is big business, she uses accountant etc… Further search I found out that her phone number – 2606020364 is pre-paid phone. I don’t know many business owners who is not concerned about money to use pre-paid phones.
Anyway, still, no money back on my account and I am on the verge of losing my client that used to pay me a lot of money. Sure it is partially my fault for trusting people. Problem is, it is not only happening in this case, people chose to lie and cheat. That is bad reputation for US and people should be aware of these scammers who thinks that everyone around them is stupid. I am stupid after all. She scammed me for so much money…. She is probably not Rosilene Taylor and goes under many names and many company names. If you come across that name, you know whats going on. Here are some of the sentences from her “articles”:
"with top quality tobacco being packed into the sleek and sexy cylinder, it has also been infused with top notch values to give the ladies exactly what they had been asking for"
“imperial Tobacco Company, has also incorporated some top notch value levels into its Davidoff Slims Blue brand”
“The Dunhill FC Master Blend Gold brand has been infused with impeccable values in order to enhance your smoking experience as well.”
“That has successfully been done, with top quality tobacco being packed into the sleek and sexy cylinder, it has also been infused with top notch values to give the ladies exactly what they had been asking for”
