Unlimited Movers is the worst company and absolutely no customer service. Their Better Business Bureau rating is a paid shame and I learned that the BBB do not help customers over paying business. No accountability or true compensation for customer furniture or mental damages.
My nightmare unfolded when the movers independently decided they would deliver on a holiday without ample notice to me and told me that if I don't accept delivery my item would be carried away and I would suffer a $500 additional charge for redelivery!! Without having a properly scheduled moving permit for that day, once the movers arrived the city police promptly arrived also and gave me a $150 violation which Unlimited Moving said is not their problem. On top of insult and injury, the movers told me that in addition to my $1094.24 balance I would have to give him an extra $200 for the truck. (I thought I had paid all of this?). I had little choice but to pay more.
I’m a art collector and I trusted Unlimited Movers, so I was devastated to learn that irreplaceable African art statues were shattered, glass art work shattered, one box had been packed by the movers with a glass vase and hammer. The glass vase shattered. (note: I had paid them to pack my house). Missing over $1000 art work. Repeated attempts to rectify this matter only leads to referral to a claims process that itself is a complete joke.
The Better Business Bureau heard this matter (and posted it on their BBB report) but in the end was of no assistance, actually closing the matter stating “Company resolved the complaint issues”, but I’m out valuable irreplaceable art work and several thousand dollars in damages. Would you believe this? I guess if you pay the Better Business Bureau you can receive the best deceptive rating money can buy, even if you have the worst service. To date, I have not been compensated for my loses. See pics below and a full report of my complaint at Unlimited Moving Better Business Bureau page along with other unfortunate customer complaints.
