You must be carefull when dealing with United Auto Credit. If you have an unforunate event happen and you must return you financed vechile because you are unable to continue paying for it.
United Auto Credit will use any tactic they can to collect on the balance after selling the vechile.
Such as contacting your neighbors, relatives and anyone that is on the reference sheet, blantely stating to that person that they are trying to collect on a bill. they leave message on a voice mail. They do this even if they have a good contact number to reach you at.
By law this is illegaly to discuss the reason for the call, they are only allowed to leave a message to contact. I know this because I collected on past due bills myself. Law says you are allowed to call once and if contact is made not call again, then if no contact you can call again 3 times. If you call and leave a message on a voice mail you the collection caller can be sued because you are discussing private information on a voice mail that you are not sure it still belongs to that individual and also that another party not associated with the individual will or could here your collection call. That is devalugance of privacy!
Their call tactics are deplorable. In one day I received 12 calls from them. There were 6 calls in a matter of 8 minutes on my phone.
I will agree with some other postings they are rude, do not listen to your explaination, and are relentless.
I have taken my own course of action with this company and they have been informed as of this date to not call any reference list on the sheet turned in with my application. Via their email site connect to their website I sent a A formal stop and decease of these calls immediately to my references from this date on from United Auto, any of its associated companies, or any person connected with them. Also Informed United Auto that legal action action will be taken if they continue these tactics.
Purchased car in 8/1/2004 account was paid timely and closed in April 2010. Haven't received title and have mailed letters requesting title be released numerous times.
I got a auto loan from United Auto Credit Corporation on 10-07-2004 for 60 months,5 year contract .I fullfilled my obglation an never recived my releses on my title . Two years later they resold it toanother dealership in return messup my car witch had 2 warrity on it.
Paid off my car in 2007 still haven't received title. I just want my title and this company prosecuted to the full extent of the law, for a bunch of Rip Off. Seen to many reviews on their site and they are pretty. I am Frustrated with this so called company. Not worth advertising their name. Thanks.
