I have purchased several hundred ungraded BU silver eagles from this company and have had no problems. I have found them to be the cheapest overall and on par or faster with delivery than other companies I have bought from. I'm sorry to hear the original poster overpaid, but I believe in a free market a company has the right to sell a product for any amount they choose. If they price themselves out to the market that too is their choice. It is as the OP says, he was a novice...he was buying coins that were out of his league and he did not do his research. Why, with the power of the internet at your fingertips, you would make such a mistake, I cannot understand.
If there were two Ford car dealerships across the street from each other and you walk on to one and buy the the first Mustang you see for a the sticker price of 35k and then drive it across the street and see the same model sells for 22k, then who's fault is that? IMO it would be the OP's fault in both cases. On the net everything is across the street from everything, it's your job to take a few minutes and find the best price. Sure be mad, but mainly at yourself. When making a major purchase search the best deal, do your research.
Hopefully there was some kind of return policy to take advantage of...at least on that last purchase.

US GOLD BUREAU/MIKE SMALL Scammed a sucker Austin Texas
The individual was not a telemarkter but once doing business, he talked just like a telemarketer. I was new to the gold
and silver purchase of coins. I was overcharged several times, but this last time was the worst. I paid 4500$ for
a four coin 2014 gold american eagle set. Then i saw it on paradisemint.com for 3150$. When i complained to
Mike Small, he said they were selling below cost (whose cost) and were not the market makers for the item.
for 1400$ difference i dont care about market makers or the fact they sell below cost. I would never again
purchase any of their marketmaking gold coins or anything else. They took advantage of a novice.
