Software Tweakbit Driver Booster Updater was purchased from Avangate over the internet on 20th. March 2015. The program was downloaded and the License Code was entered and the program run to update 20 out of date Drivers. Half way through the process of updating my computer blue screened and stopped working. Through a recovery program, I restored functionality of my computer and tried to run the Driver Booster program again with the same result.
I removed the program from my computer after restoring its function and through Paypal requested a refund of my purchase cost from Avangate under their policy of refund if not completely happy within 60 days of purchase. Avangate refused to refund my money. I instituted a Claim through Paypal which was escalated after Avangate's refusal to refund. Unilaterally my claim was abandoned without any notification to me.
My consumer rights have been abrogated and Avangate have a duty of care and consumer rights to refund my purchase cost.
I also wish it to be known to other purchasers of their software that they do not honor their guarantees.
