Please can we all get together and file a class action lawsuit against this company???? They are getting away with a CRIME.
They owe me over $700! I did work for them at SAM's club and Home Depot. It has been over a YEAR and they have no intention of paying. It is a SCAM. And it's time this company get's SHUT DOWN for what they do to hard working people.
If anyone else has been burned by this company, please reply. There's more strength in numbers. Vernard Simmons, Denise Robinson and Racquelle Murphy are crooks!
Yeah these people that have created FTU and TURNS are the worst. Liars and dishonest and not Americans at all. the Principles of both companies will not pay and respond with any logic. I am owed close to $3000 on 1 project that consisted of 150 am/PM stores in So. Ca. I worked above and beyond for them and they kept trying to get me to do extra , extra , extra work and I had to tell them I cannot do anything else for you until I see payment. Well it has been since April 1st from project start time and have not seen any money. ANy other Reps that participated on this project are being screwed as well. no payment rendered to any of them. Never work for them, biggest scam artist I have ever encountered in the Merchandising industry.
APPARENTLY THIS COMPANY IS RUNNING A FRAUD SCAM, HIRING FOLKS IN ALL STATES TO PERFORM WORK AT OTHER COMPANIES, SUCH AS SURVEYS,STOCKING, ETC, THEY DO A CONTRACT WITH FOLKS AND THEN NEVER PAY THEM.*** DO NOT ACCEPT WORK FROM THIS COMPANY!!***
PLEASE CONTACT ME AT IF YOU WANT TO JIN A CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT AND A COMPLAINT WITH THE GEORGIA ATTORNEY GENERAL, TO RECOUP THE MONEY THEY OWE YOU AND HAVE THEM CLOSED DOWN.
I was contacted by Turns Inc asking if I woud be interested in completing projects. My first project was at Sams Club for a floor display set up and was told I would be paid $50 upon completion. I was then asked to complete a 2-day project at Home Depot for a Bath reset. This included building full displays and moving inventory. I worked overnight from 9pm to 7am for a total of 20 hours. I was told to bring a helper, who also worked alongside me and was never paid. I am currently owed over $650, not including the mileage.
While these projects were being completed, I was consistently contacted by Denise Robinson and Racquelle Murphy. I also received a call from Vernard Simmons himself explaining how important the project at Home Depot was for the company.
However after I completed the projects and sent in my invoice, I no longer received calls. I called Racquelle Murphy at her extention after she stopped answering my calls to her cell number, and was told by her that now they will be contacting me by email now on since they were very busy all of a sudden. This change was immediatly after the work was completed and verified. I was told Denise was unavailable and my emails and calls were eventually completely ignored. It has now been 6 months that I have been attempting to make contact. I contacted the Attorney General of Georgia and was advised to send a certified letter demanding payment. That letter was received and signed for by Denise Robinson, however I never received any response. That was 2 months ago. I am now in the process of filing a claim but am open to joining a class action lawsuit as I feel what this company is doing is illegal. They are receiving money from these contracts for work carried out by merchandisers that they never pay.
I was hire as a contractor in the merchandising field to place display's in 4 SAMS club stores. I agreed to the job and did these job. I submitted the requested paperwork and waited to be paid. After not hearing from them, I called and emailed the scheduler. I finally got an email stating that they had no money to pay the jobs done. I did some research and the company that hired me Field Tactical Unit was a DBA filed in Georgia by the CEO of TURNS INC. It seems that the latest business model is to hold out paying minor money owed to merchandisers to help maintain the four corporate offices. Needless to say I have never been paid.
