Tunespeak lures users into using their site and compete to win tickets to concerts. The user then promotes bands through social media and acts as a puppet for the back or musician they are representing. Contests normally last around 17 days.
The real rip off starts because Tunespeak has written their Terms of Services to be intentonally vague. They may disquallify or suspend accounts at their discretion. Many many individuals are disqualified hours before thier contest ends for a variety of reasons. On average, a user/fan can put in 100 hours of their time to attempt to win tickets.
Please read their Terms of Services before you participate in a contest so you can understand what you are getting into. It says they MAY suspend you for virtually any reason. Also, they may disqualify you for earning too many points or spending too much time interacting with other fans. Once again, the limits are not defined.
Some people belive the "winners" of the contests are friends, family or planted by the company since they 1st place contestant is usually disqualified before they can actaully win anything.
Lastly, there is no way to contact the company by telephone. Please be advised if you request the number, they will only contact you, not the other way around. They will only contact you if you cause a scene through social media
If you want to win tickets to see a performer, use a different and trusted site. Better yet, interact with the bands VIP programs so you know they are legit. Stay away from Tunespeak.
Its not a scam. I have won tickets on one contest and merch on a another. And I have received both. Actually received two merch packages and contacted customer service and they said it was mine to keep.
I won a trip to Punta Cana to Zac Brown Band first that started my journey to win contest. Then a few years later a trip to New York to see Kings of Leon. It is NOT A SCAM!!!!
This company is a complete scam. They offer tickets to go see artists but you have to enter a contest, OK. When you enter the contest you have to link your Facebook account, watch, listen and share songs, videos, pictures etc. You get oh so many points for doing each task.
Here's the catch. You cannot use the same device and internet connection as your friends who are trying to help you win EVEN when they link their Facebook to show that it is a legit person and not some fake profile you just made. Your friend's account is disqualified and they can no longer help you.
There is no customer service. The have no number and they will not email you back. Your best bet is to make a seen on their Facebook page and eventually they will just ignore you. The whole situation is rigged.
Your friends have to do waaaayyy too much for you to get points, no one is going to do what they are asking for. Watch 50 videos, listen to a whole bunch of songs and look at a whole bunch of pictures like and follow pages.
It's a big scam for free marketing, not only their website but for artists to promote what they are doing also. The amount of time you put in trying to win, you should be getting paid for it. You might be number one but something will happen and you will be disqualified last minute and all the long hours you put in to win will be for nothing.
You are better off calling radio stations trying to get through than trying to play along with this time consuming scam.
