Tunespeak lures fans to their site promising that they will connect fans with their favorite artists by contests to win tickets and other promotional items. They claim that you will collect point for viewing pictures, videos and listening to music from your favorite artists. They claim that you will then earn 3X's the points if you share the videos with your friends. I shared the video on my page and had over 20 friends view the video. I even wrote to Tunespeak support several times and they claimed that they couldn't see the activity and made many excuses as to why the points didn't show up. Some of the excuses were that maybe I couldn't see the points because I was viewing it from my phone and maybe they were on the same internet connection as I was in which case I wouldn't earn points or maybe they already viewed the video. None of the excuses that they gave pertained to my situation. None of my friends were using the mobile site and none were using my internet connection, none of them viewed the video previously. They were also very rude, short and evasive in their responses only responding to some of my emails, which I made sure to remain honest but courteous. They never really answered any of my questions.
I also noticed that all of a sudden after I was in 1st place for days of spending lots of time trying to win the contest that all of a sudden, a contestant with a blurred out picture shows up and is all of a sudden in 1st place and they stopped adding my points. They also claim that they don't show the points of the other contestants to keep it fun and a mystery so that anyone can win. I think that this is how they mislead contestants and rig the contest to allow someone they know to win or maybe there is no prize at all for some of the contests. I am not sure but I am annoyed, frustrated and I feel that my time was totally wasted because they do not do what they say that they will.
