We purchased the Fishbowl Inventory Management software to integrate w/Quickbooks in May 2014. The system integration began on 16 May, and we "went live" on 19 May 2014. We also paid for on-site training which ran from 19-22 May 2014. The software/integration wasn't installed properly causing many issues including loss of time, labor, strain on employees. We had to utilize a third-party vendor, per Fishbowl's direction, to correct integration errors which lead to more issues. We were unable to run reports in either system, and found that the data transfers back to Quickbooks were inaccurate. We were advised that custom reports could be created, but would be charged a fee per report.
Fishbowl Customer Service was almost non-existent. We bought a satisfaction guaranteed option, but never received a fully functioning product/solution from the very start. On 2 June, 2014 the Fishbowl Solutions Specialist admitted (in writing) the initial set-up/integration was NOT done correctly. Once we were told this information, we cancelled their services within 24-hours. Fishbowl responded that we were "no longer within the warranty period." We are still trying to recover the monies paid to Fishbowl and their third-party partner, Geniustream. Additionally, for the past two weeks we have been rebuilding/restoring our Quickbooks database manually, as well as correcting errors and omissions created by the Fishbowl integration.
