Triple T Roadside Commercial Vehicle Assistance or whateever keyword they combine are a SCAM. Whoever is behind this has spent a lot of time creating multiple websites, Facebook account and Twitter accounts. This is the worst black hat marketing scam out there.
The SCAM works like this.
You call up saying your truck has a flat tire.
They call a local company up pretending to be you and comes up with a price like $175
You say go ahead and fix it
They call back saying it was $800 more for some reason but will not provide proof, photos or a statement of work BUT they do want you to pay.
DO NOT GIVE CC Information !!!
Their tactic is intimidation but swearing at your CFO in hopes they would crack
When you speak with the male on the other line:
1. He does not answer the phone in a professional manner
2. He has a heavy accent that appears Phillipines or possibly Romanian.
3. Based upon his word choices, he appears very uneducated and most likely does not have a high school education.
4. In trying to work out the truth he begins swearing, accuses you of scamming him then threatens you and your family.
So I did a little digging.
He appears to have multiple sites:
tttrp.comsemitruckstires.com/services.html
http://www.mobilesemitruckrepair.com/
http://findtrucksservice.com
http://mobiledeiseltruckrepair.com
http://oklahomacitymissouri.com
http://semitrucktires.com
http://www.pennsylvaniatruckrepair.com/
All site use toll free: 844-888-7587
Facebook: roadservicetrucks
Twitter: tripletplus
Red flags to indicate a scam:
1. Unfinished, flashy but generic text as if the sole purpose was ranking on Google. Very Sloppy formatting with a generic contact page.
2. Registration comes back to proxy
3. NO Corporate information
4. NO Address
5. NO local phone number
6. NO Secretary of State Listing for Triple T (At least none that are actually him)
7. Claims he does DOT inspections but no DOT has them listed as an authorized DOT inspection facility, and without an address makes it impossible.
One domain (without proxy) shows ownership as:
Emil cohen
World Marketing
13900 marquesas way
Marina Del Rey
California
90292
United States
8184393474
Other information makes it appear as Shreveport Louisiana and Philedelphia PA.
Also found a Google Plus Account under the name Jennifer Smith but clearly based on posts, is the same company(ies) and based upon the lack of logical words and spelling which as witch, I am very confident this is the same uneducated person. The business is posting and scamming vs actual work.
I am leaning more towards Romanian as observation in the industry shows them involved with more automotive based SCAMS.
If you have been scammed by them, post here then contact the Justice Department @ 202-514-2000 or contact your local FBI office as this is inter & intrastate matter.
