I called on 5/16/2014 and told the laddy at Tri-State that my A/C outdoor unit had a froze up condencer fan motor I had to explain that it was not turning and not iced up She stated she had to sent someone out to dertermane what the problem I ask her about ordering the fan motorand bringing it out sat and replacing it she said they first must come out and diagnose the problem and then they would give me an estamate to repair the problem and then order the fan She said she would send some one out on Saturday between noon and 5 pm He showed up about 1 oclock or so. I told him that the fan motor will no move that everthing else seems to be working alright He said he had to check it out He set the thermostate to 66 deg Went out side and tested a couple of conections then asked where is the air handler I told him in the attic and showed he how to get to it He checked out the air handler using no tools at all in less then 2 minutes and went to the out side unit again I told her again that the condencer fan motor will not rotate and that I used a long screwdriver and tryed to spin it and could not move it at all Her then got his screwdriver and tryed to turn the fan blades and stated The Fan Motoer is Frozse Up thats your problem I said well Thank You Thats what I been trying to tell you all He then went to his truck to write up an estamate When he came back to me he stated it would cost me $556.00 to replace the motor and $109.00 to diagnose the problem I got very upset as 1 the lady in the office never said anything about any cost for a diagnoses and 2 I told her and this guy what was wrong and wanted the part order before he got out to my house I also asked what happened to the free estament that most companys do, He never ansered that question I told him I will not pay the $109.00 because of restating what I said above I ask for the office number and was told no one was there I asked for a number to a superiveser and he said he didn't have one He knew I was upset so he said I would not have to pay the $109.00 and said he would be out next Saturday at 10 am to replace the fan motor I told him that would be great and he made me sign his form which states all of this. On Monday the lady in the office left a message to call her back On Wednesday I got a bill from her for$109.00 I called and left a message that I would not pay this bill any why I wouldn't I never heared from her. On Saturday the 24 of May the repair man never showed up or called
