This firm puts up a fantastic front when they hire drivers. They initially come off as caring and really interested in your success. What a joke. They are only interested in their own greedy little ways they can squeeze money out of their independent contractors.
The driver's become so burn't out on trying to understand how they are being paid and chasing hotel and other monies that was promised via dispatch that they eventually resign out of frustration.
As a driver the company makes it very difficult for you to do an accounting of your own pay. Their web sight is NEVER updated to date. When you try to see what you have been reimbursed for, it may be posted 4 weeks later. When you finally see what you were paid on and see that they left something out they then tell you that the run is closed out and it's too late to get the reimbursement. What? Pathetic GREED.
This is part of the reason for such high driver turnover. I believe that they only want driver's that won't review their pay and reimbursements. The payroll dept. will deny an expense and then state that they "don't have enough time" to further review it or they just ignore you if you state that dispatch promised the reimbursement.
Their lack of transparency is well designed. Comdata's web sight is also very vague if one tries to view transactions. It only draws up questions on why, and when you contact TSOA payroll you simply get their typical stonewall.
Lastly, dispatch has been instructed to assign the West Coast runs to the drivers that have free flight benes. This obviously saves the company thousands of dollars but takes away the most profitable runs from the bulk of drivers.
