Had a search on craigslist and found what I thought to be a great company, By the name of Titan Alarm Inc.
At the Interview, I was given a goofy questionairre that consisted of questions that most people would not get right. Still i got most of them right and proceeded to get a job offer, getting paid $12 an hour was not something to turn down in my situation having a wife and a kid. I then was told i would be provided a company vehicle and would be trained in both aspects of installing alarms.
After not getting my company vehicle, I would then go about 2 weeks having to travel three times as much to pick up another tech that would train me and work along side of me. I was not reimbursed for travel. Still I had to keep asking for my vehicle, I was given the runaround and told that It needed to be cleaned, this happened for 2 weeks and finally I was given keys. I keeped busting my back and worked everyday learning as much as I could and buying tools that I was not told in the beginning I would have to purchase.
A week after I received my truck, I was told to come into the office AFTER work. I went in and was sat down by office manager, inventory manager and other employee to be let go. I was not given a reason even after I specifically asked for one, seeing as how I would not want to make the same mistake in another organization. I was unprofessionally told that it was just not working out.
Anyone that values their time, may want to think twice before working for titan Alarm Inc.
