I bought this product based on a radio or television ad. The product did not work for me so I called customer service. The person convinced me to use the entire bottle, and asked if I wanted more product. I said no, but received some in the mail anyway. I called again, they said use the product for one more month and call them if it didn't work.
I called, and told the rep they weren't working for me She said to return the unused portion of the bottle. She gave me a four digit confirmation number and quoted me the amount of the return, which wasd $109.95.
When I checked my credit card the credit was for only $54.95. I called TD Health Products to find out why, and was informed that I needed to return the empty bottles as well in order to receive a full refund. That was never explained to me, which I told Jay, the manager I spoke with. He said the return policy is very clear and basically too bad for me.
I would never recommend this product to anyone. Its a complete ripoff.
Tinnoxyl claims that their product will reduce the symptoms of tinnitus (ringing in your ears) in 2-3 weeks. They say they're so confident in this that they'll give you a 4 week supply for free. The catch is that they will only do this if you give them your credit card information so they can continue to supply you with the product at its retail price. They claim you can cancel at anytime.
I tried the product and found it made the ringing in my ears louder. I called the customer service line and tried to cancel my "subscription". The operator talked me into postponing this by offering me a huge discount. The product continued to make my tinnitus worse so I called back 2 days before the deadline for cancellation to find that the operators had been replaced with a recording of the president of the company referring you to the website to place orders and read about the product. He also changed the company's claim that the product works in 2-3 weeks to 6 months! I visited the website to try to cancel my subscription there but the website referred me back to the customer service line!
Since I couldn't cancel my subscription I had to contact my credit card company and get a new card issued to me.
