The author who does not even have the guts to leave his name is completely full of crap. My name is Sean Austin and I am the one in the complaint above who owns Timeshare Advocacy International. If you read his complaint closely you will notice that he states his grandmother was ripped off by my company but he signs it "Very upset son"? Doesn't make sense. I have checked every case we have had in the last 5 years and we cannot find one case that even comes close to matching what this complaint describes. Additionally, why would they not identify themselves so we can resolve the problem? Why would they not complaint to the BBB or the Tennessee Division of Consumer Affairs? Lastly, we would not accept any client who has dementia and we do not take cases where the client cannot represent themselves. I believe this to be the work of a disgruntled ex-employee that was fired.
This company helped my friend John out of his timeshare with the Villa Del Palmar in Mexico, and even got him some money back. I live in Mt. Juliet where they are located and I have driven past their office many times. They are the real deal.I can't say how they have done for other people, but I know for a fact that they helped him.
I don't think any of my other friends have timeshares, but if they do, I am sending them over to those guys.
I hire this company on 08-21-14, paid $3,495.00 for them to help me cancel my timeshare with another company. they advertise guaranteed or get our money back, they also advertise that they will help you all the way through by calling the customer on a weekly bases. they have not done neither thing. I had to do everything myself, call my timeshare company, send my owe letters. and as of today 03-31-15, the timeshare is still not cancel, when we called this company they just give us the run around. They never return my calls and have not done anything else to cancel my timeshare. I called them on 02-04-15 & email them requesting my money back and they return my call saying that they don't refund payment. I have all my notes on who I spoke with. and when I ask why haven't they call us they claim no one answers my cell. but on my phone logs it shows no such calls from them no emails, no messages. I paid $3,495up front and now I just want my money back. they promise cancellation in less than 6 months but this is taken over 7 months with no results.

Timeshare Advocacy is an oxy-moron (think of thunderous silence or 2 other words that dont go together!). They charged my 81 year old grandmother who had dementia (and they knew she had dementia b/c I told them when they first called her so they waited to call back another time when i was not present and stole payment over the phone). Even 2 other lady friends from my grams chruch, who originally had either their children or grandchildren locate a company making claims TAI does; had in excess of $4,500 stolen from them.
Money Back Guarantee!! JOKE!!!! once they can't cancel your timeshare...mark my words your phone will ring with Sean or one of his criminal relatives will call you....tell you...we are going to refer your case to our in house counsel in lieu of returning your money. DO NOT fall for that and GET YOUR $$ back....All and I mean ALL their lawyer does is send a letter and have a paralegal make 1 just 1 phone call and then they are done...
Guess what? Then you still have your timeshare and your money is gone!!!
Not to mention...I did some research and found out Sean used to sell timeshares....now he wants to cancel them? Well I guess if you can't SELL, SCAM....Its the TAI way....

Great Company!
