I originally brought my 2008 BMW 328I to Dr. Import about six months ago to get a leaking valve cover fixed and to replace a belt over $1600.00 in repairs. All went well at that time, so I thought, so I kept bringing it for routine maintenance. About 3 weeks ago I brought my for a routine oil change and they stated that I need to get my valve cover replaced not realizing that they had already supposedly fixed it. Mark the owner of the company reached out to me and I scheduled an appointment to have the work done again. About 24hrs. later he called and stated that there are other problems with the car which I ended up paying over $400.00 to fix. The following day I pick the car up and drove it home then the car then starts to shake when I start it (never had this problem) I call Mark he tells me that it is a $900.00 sensor that needs to be replaced and the check engine light did not come on until they touched the car in the first place. So I take the car back to him again and he replaced the sensor for free and promises that the car will run fine nothing else is wrong. In fact his exact words were he would not let me drive the car if there was something wrong with it. So I take the car home drive it to work the next day about 3 block from my house and everything seemed to run fine. That night I get on the freeway for about 2 miles and the car starts shaking again even worse then before! The next morning I bring the car back to Dr. Import Mark calls me and tells me that there is a bad coil and I pay $65.00 to have that replaced and it will stop the shaking. Like an idiot who just wants his car fixed I pay the money take my car home and pray for the best. The next day I am driving home from work which was yesterday and my car begins to overheat ( This was also never an issue) I take the car back to Mark this morning and he calls me and tells me that I need to pay $265.00 to replace a radiator hose. Finally I am over it every time I take my car to this place not even 48hrs go by and there is something else wrong with the car. Mark is a crook and one of two things are going on here ... They really do not what they are doing or they are intentionally breaking stuff so you keep coming back to spend more and more money. They have literally had my car more then I have they last three weeks and all he can say is I cannot warranty your whole car. SO IN THE END I DROVE IT HOME AND OF COURSE IT WAS LEAKING WORSE THE IT WAS BEFORE I BROUGHT HIM AND NOW I AM DONE!!! If you are even thinking of using Dr. Import please just take it to the dealer and pay the same price to get it done right the first time... don't make the same mistake that I and a bunch of other unsatisfied customers have made.
