The beginning of April I contacted the "Unlock Pros" to help me fix a cell phone I had purchased from China, I informed them from the get go that the phone was a "clone" version of the Galaxy note 3, the tech I spoke with assured me they could fix the phone no problem but I would have to send it to them they would not be able to fix it remotely, I sent the phone on Monday morning, it arrived at their location Wednesday, I gave them the tracking #. A week went by, no phone. I contacted them and at first they were accommodating, 2weeks went by, still nothing, I asked for a tracking number and was given one from a guy by the name of Eric, he emailed me a tracking number which I wasn't able to obtain any info from for 4 days, I finally was able to track the package, they couldn't repair the phone and sent it to a place over 100 miles from my address, and what was the name of the place it why to? They were being vindictive and sent it to a co. By the name of Fla Cleaning Services. This really angered me seeing that I had paid $70.00 to them and a month went by and NOTHING! so I'm contacting my credit union and am going to try and get my money back. This is without a doubt one of the WORST buying experiences I've ever had. So buyer beware! They need to spend a little money and hire someone professional to handle their "damage control". They need to redeem themselves and give me a Full Refund! period.

They Stole my phone

I sent my phone to them and they did not fix the phone and have not shipped it back and told me to stop bothering them. They never sent the phone back. Major scam. I wish I could call the police.

Scammers, don't fall for this money trap

The Unlock Pros

Paid them $69.95 to fix the IMEI on my galaxy phone. They "look" professional after you pay, with some files to download and install that look like they know what they're doing.

However when I connected with the tech (Lorenzo) couldn't do anything, beware because the software installed allows them free and total access to your computer. When he couldn't fix the phone's IMEI, he called in "Adam" (pretty sure this is not his name) and he didn't know what he was doing either, but keep you occupied meanwhile to steal your cash. Then he called me and started cursing, insulting, and was called every foul word you can think of. You could hear him "laugh" with his scam buddies at how easy it was to steal my money.

Then he repeatedly called me (maybe 10+ times in a row) to do the same, curse, insults, etc, etc which I got tired of quickly. Bottom line is they WIL NOT fix your phone, you will lose time, get insulted by "the owner" and lose your time. They don't know how to fix phones, but are pretty good at telling you to f**k off and many other insults to COVER the fact that THEY HAVE NO IDEA HOW TO FIX PHONES.

they ripped me off

Same thing happened to me! As I live in New Zealand I got out of bed at 4am to do this! And I was called a F**King Thief and insulted the F**K out of! because I brought a phone that had been blacklisted does not make me a thief! and got told that I would never receive my money back! so who is the F**KING THIEF!!

I had a customer who needed to have an IMEI Repair done. So I googled and found http://www.theunlockpros.com. I paid $70 for their service. Set up an appointment time and went ahead with the service. Well I got a few customers in and was unable to keep my appointment. So I called to ask for a refund since my customer wanted his phone back I refunded his money to him. Well when I called the guy on the phone got smart with me and said he was not refunding shit. So I said I was filing a complaint with PayPal. Later on that day after filing a complaint with PayPal the owner of the company called me yelling at me, threatening me among other things. I have the recorded calls 1st one is mobile-repairs.us/record1.mp3 and the 2nd one mobile-repairs.us/record2.mp3. Very Rude and unproffessional.

The Unlock Pros charges a hefty fee for unlocking a phone in comparison to other services. The reason I agreed to the transaction is because of their promise to mail it two day delivery after they unlock it the day it arrives. Well... it has been about a month since they received my phone. They do not respond to emails, and even avoid talking directly. I want my $300 phone back, along with the $60 I paid them. This is ridiculous, they need to be shutdown completely and for good. It is something to take forever to mail an item back, it is another thing to lie to the customer stating it will be mailed right away. I even contacted them half a dozen times, and received one response that they would be mailing it the next day... what do you know, another lie. You're a business, not a politician, start acting like one!

Do not use their service!

Timeline of events: i sent them my phone, then never heard anything from them for two months I was trying to contact them the entire time), i did finally receive my phone in the mail and it worked for a month. I was happy Besides the absolutely terrible customer service). Then one day my phone stopped working and my imei# shows as '0'. I called to let them know and they accused me of tampering with the phone and said they will not warranty it.

I will never use their services again. And i plan on stopping by their office on my next trip to vegas to have a nice chat in person :)

30 min remote imei repair? More like 1 hour 30 mins

These guys will take up a lot of your time with remote imei repair. 30-40mins they advertised. 1 hour and a half for me and all without success :( Once they find out that remote repair is not going to work, they quickly leave you hanging and move on to other potential customers. The website looks professional, but their service is far less. Try to give them a call at their customer support line or chat. You are lucky if you can get a response.

DO NOT EVEN use their service specially Adam . He accused customer for having a small issue with phone . Also he even had the nerve to call customer stupid and others insulting words. During the appointment , i did not want to say anything because i want my stuff to be done instead of getting a refund ( which would take forever ) . Lorenzo was very helpful but Adam was a jerk and a very rude customer service. Also , please DO NOT trust in the youtube videos , they claimed they used custom app and codes , all lies , they were using SPT box and himachi and usb redirection app to fix your phone. I reccomended against this business.

These guys are the biggest scam on the internet. They lied and said they could fix my phone, TWO WEEKS later they told me they were having problems fixing my phone and when I asked for it back with my refund, the HUNG UP on me. To this day, I am still trying to get my money back and I know for a fact that I'm not the only one. SOMEONE NEEDS TO SHUT THESE GUYS DOWN, before they can scam anymore people.

I bought a used phone that happened to have bad IMEI and was looking for a service that can repair it. I came across The Unlock Pros via a YouTube video that made the company sound legit. I went to the company website, paid for the service, downloaded all the files required to initiate remote access to my phone according to their instructions. Then, I scheduled an appointment with them and a remote connection was established to my phone. First, they complained that my phone keeps disconnecting and I should replace the USB wire in which I did as asked. They wasted over an hour of my time complaining about nonsense. Eventually, they suggested I reschedule for the next day but establish a connection using a different laptop in which I did.

The next day as they established connection with a different laptop, they accessed me of lying to them and that I'm using the same laptop, claiming it's showing the same IP address on their end. I was really disappointed of such accusations. I then emailed their tech support requesting a refund of the money I paid, see attachments for their unprofessional response and be the judge!

Their customer service reply surely loves using the ""F"" word to thank clients for using their service. Don't make the same mistake I did and get mislead like me by their YouTube video. It seems like it's couple teenagers running this website, claiming to be legit service while it's complete scam.

Company claims to change Imei # on stolen/ blacklisted phone to make them functional again. Company will aslo steal your money and not provide any services or refunds. extremely rude, out $50.

I stupidly believed their (self reported) reviews when seeking a solution to an IMEI problem I had with my Samsung Galaxy S5.

I paid them to repair the IMEI of my phone.

They isued it with a "new" IMEI. It worked for a few weeks then reverted to "Not registered on Network"

Upon investigation I discovered that the IMEI was in fact blacklistedl as Lost/Stolen.

I have tried to contact the company via the "Live Chat " on their site.

But everytime Scott (if that is his real name) sees my complaint,he refuses to answer & there is no further comment from him.

This has hapened nine (9) times now. So it is quite clear that he knows exactly what he has done and has no intention of resolving the issue.

The term RIP OFF'S, when applied to them, is exactly appropriate.

DON'T trust this website! Its a BIG SCAM! I tried it because I read there REVIEWS on there website! Come to find out they were FAKE. People can't even leave a review on their page thats why I'm leaving one here. So heres what happened I bought a phone Samsung Galaxy Note 3 from craigslist (big mistake), and it turns out to be "blacklisted". So I googled some ways to fix that problem and figure out what it meant. This website popped up and I clicked it. I was very skeptical but I still decided to give it a try, because I didn't want a phone that I couldn't use. I couldn't return it also. So I called there number the first time and the guy told me to send the phone and it will be a fee of $69.95 with a paypal account. I ended up asking alot of questions, and the guy was "lying" just telling me things I wanted to hear. So I fell for it and decided to mail the phone in and also send the money and this was last week on August 14th. Everything turned out to be a lie, Fake number which gets forwarded to a random voicemail. I get no reply. Finally, I sent a message on Saturday because USPS said its been delivered and I sent them the tracking number. The guy finally gave me a reply and said they got the phone and its getting fixed but its to late to ship it that same day because the next day was a Sunday, and the post office are closed. So he said he would ship it Monday. I waited and they said it would take 2 days. So now Wednesday came and still nothing I kept updating the tracking info for USPS and it said the same thing "Pre-Shipment" its been saying that since Monday. I called again and ask what was going on. They said it should be coming in Tomorrow which was Thursday. It was a lie I left a report for USPS to let them know my package was suppose to be coming in and I didn't recieve it. They told me they didn't recieve it either. So, I just called and canceled my payment, because I was not getting any updates and my phone was nowhere to be found. The guy finally called me back once I filed a dispute and started cursing, asking why did I file a dispute? I told him why in a very calm manner. He was still SCREAMING AND YELLING AT ME CALLING ME ALL KINDS OF NAMES!!! Very Unprofessional thats how I knew it was a scam. NO PERSON would curse at there customers and call them all kind of names and told me "I'll just keep your phone and the money too". So never again would I trust this sick b******. Karma will come around and bite him. I just lost a phone, but I got my money back.

This Company is a scam..I paid for an unlock code to reset a bad IMEI on my galaxy mega and it didn't work so I called and the guy told me to mail in my phone and they would fix it and mailed it back. He told me that it would take two days to get there and I would have it back in two days so a total of four days and everything should be good. Well its been almost a month now and they don't answer and don't reply to my emails. People like me work hard for what I have and I don't appreciate people that do these kind of things. The money I spent on trying to fix my phone that they stole from me could have been spent on my kids. They're site should be taken down and they should have to refund me my money and phone if they don't plan on fixing it and returning it.

I contacted them throw live chat on their website. i was told they can fix it but it had to be sent in .i agreed and paid for the service then i got email with instructions and mailing address to send the phone to. i did with registered mail and signature required. In the email I was told its one day service, I will attach copy of the email. They got the phone on the 4/13/15 on the 4/14/15. i chatted with Scott and I was told the phone is ready and i will get tracking # shortly am still waiting and they ignoring every attempt to reach them.

I bought a galaxy s5 active off craigslist to be used on cricket service. Two days later my account was suspended for what was told to me to be a blacklisted imei Stating the phone is reported lost or stolen).

I saw claims online from the unlock pros llc stating that they could fix my phone so that it could be used. After a payment of $69.95 i was prompted to download a bunch of software on my computer and set up a time with a technician to fix my phone remotely.

At the end of the online chat session with the technician after his supposed "repair" he told me that my phone has a new imei now and that i can just call the company, give them the new imei and get my service restored.

Upon calling cricket they told me that the "new" imei already belongs to a cricket customer and they could not reactivate my service since the imei was active on another customer's active account.

I contacted the unlock pros both by chat and by phone and was basically told by both individuals Who i now believe to be the same person) that they did the job that i paid for and could not give me a new imei number, basically blaming the phone company and stating that the phone company was trying to scam me into buying a new phone.

I am currently pregnant with 3 children and taking care of my fiance who was recently involved in an accident and is not paraplegic and in and out of the hospital so i need a working phone. When trying to explain that to whoever i spoke to at the unlock pros, i was insulted with "don't give me your sob story to try to get me to do extra work for you.

I'm now stuck with a phone i cannot use and no extra money to buy a new one because of the situation my family and myself are in. I hope that people do research before dealing with this scamming company like i failed to do!

FIXED!

Not sure what everyone is complaining about. It did take a little more than the 15 minutes stated, doesn't everything when dealing with technology or computers....

That being said Lorenzo FIXED my problem, got me a new IMEI # up and running good to go again.

Everyone needs to keep in mind, we wouldn't need this type of service if people would pay for the phones before they SELL THEM!!

Some people suck, not these guys though!

I found these guys through their youtube channel. At first customer service was on point until I made my payment and scheduled my appointment. The first email I recieved from them, which I still have by the way, said to download and leave alone until tech got in contact with me. I did exactly that, I will admit I should have read both emails so I wouldve known there was other things needed before he could get started. Either way, the tech contacts me and off top is a complete dick head. Calls my computer garbage and said I needed to get a new one. I was over my grandmothers house and using her computer due to me being at work and was closer to her computer than I was to my own. He told me he was not going to work on it on that garbage computer and if I didnt reschedule he would not be doing the service at all. I was pissed but I did reschedule for the next day, only to find out I didnt finalize the reschedule so I needed to reschedule again and this time finalize.

I did and got an apointment for 02/12/2015 at 1:15. I had everything downloaded and I was using my own windows 8 fully updated laptop. After 2 minutes of the tech getting in contact with me I knew there was going to be a problem. He gets upset because HE CANT get his software to ping correctly. He then stops and proceeds to curse me out telling me to "suck a dick" , told me I was an Idiot and basically to go fuck myself. I then called the owner and he told me to "suck his d***" lol and that he would come to my house and kill me because I am beneath him and am worthless as a person. WOW, I have all of this recorded and documented if anyone starts a class action law suite pleas let me know. From what I have read I am not the first person they have done this to, do not be fooled by the fake rebuttals from "satisfied customers" it is probably them making their own rebuttals as fake customers check their bbb report and the internet we cant all be making this up. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED

I send this company my wife's Galaxy note 3 for att that we bought off craigslist and it worked fine then a few days later

it stopped working att said imei was bad so we shipped it to the unlock pros to fix it they were nice as pie at first

then when it was supposed to be shipped back they said it was going to be another week ok sure.

TheN they told us they misplaced it . The next week they told us it was shipped and gave us a bogus tracking number that they set up and never shipped the package . I contacted the postal service they said they had arranged pickup but it was canceled . So then I called them a week later and they said the phone was shipped .

After two two months of waiting they said I recieved it and I was a liar . They said I was trying to pull a fast one . Until I made them realize I wasnt . At which point they stated they were trying to contact the post office and put in a claim . This company has insurance so they said why wouldn't they just replace the device ?

They wanted to claim the post office apparently . So again I contact the post office and the claim number they gave me as well was bogus ...

this has been going on For almost a year since March 17th 2014 was the day I shipped it to them .

i was in constant contact with these people the whole time and it was always something new . I saved all the texts emails nasty messages etc. even have original shipping papers .

their newest thing is they claim to not be the unlock pros anymore when I call and it's so childish because even the greeting when you call says u reached them and the voicemail is still for Lorenzo jackson ..

now I am trying to find people who have also been ripped off by these people so I can start a class action lawsuit .

Mo have contacted many law offices and the federal gov about this .

RUDE AS HELL

I found this website and decided to call them to get more information on how the process worked. Immediately upon answering the guy was RUDE and I could barely hear him. When I asked for him to speak up please his tone of voice got rude as he repeated it. Soon afterwards he hung up on me so I called back. Same guy answered and I asked if he hung up on me and he replied "yes."

Basically, the conversation ended with me cussing the guy out and he ended up hanging up on me again. COMPLETE SCAM and VERY UNPROFESSIONAL AND RUDE. Don't waste your time at all.

Ordered a samsung galaxy repair service for $70 and two days after they fixed me phone the phone auit working. I contacted support numerous times over a few days until they finally got back to me. After I finally talked to them they started ignoring me until I messaged them again. Its been over two weeks now and technical support is still ignoring me and has not tried to help nor offer me a refund.

I feel completely letdown by this company and after spending $70 and having a fixed phone for two days im now getting ignored by all means of communication and I have been nothing but polite. I filed for a refund today 6-12-2014 lets see what happens. Ifbits anything like there technical support im sure ill just keep getting ignored.

Refused to complete the unlocking I have paid for and that ive came back twice to get completed.. used very foul language I have the complete chat saved on my desktop.. told me to reschedule and com back for a third time... yes I have programs on my laptop that modify software its the same crap they use... what I have on my computer is non of there business.. no where does it say I cant have it .. they wiped my imei and told me to go f.... myself and have fun repairing my phone.. I want my money back so I can go somewhere else I will be filing fraud and contacting my attorney all for a whopping 25 bucks yes.. its the fact of the way I was treated its wrong and degrading

This Company was suppose to provide a service for my phone,I send the phone off the first week in April 2014.The company receive then told me I had to pay an additional charge. I paid it (69.99 + 12.95+ phone value of 799.99),and they my phone would be fix and returned with a two days with a tracking number provided, After weeks with no contact(I continuously called the company no answer, however when I called from a number other than my area code they answer then hang up when they hear my voice)!!! On Sunday May 12, They send me a tracking number that was INVAILD via USPS, but never sent my phone. I didn't receive my phone nor the service I purchase!!!
