The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Reviews
Feb 27, 2015
I receive Medicare. Last year my health provider was WellCare. They elected to leave Missouri at the end of 2014. They advised me in September. I began the hunt for a replacement by Dec 31. In November I signed up with Coventry. Smooth transition January 1st. Between the commercials on TV, massive amounts of printed material from many suppliers of Medicare Advantage Plans, personal letters, phone calls and the emails.... I was on time to change my provider.
This past Monday the 23rd of February I received a letter in the mail from CMS (Centers For Medicare & Medicare Services) that was the logo at the bottom of the page. The header was the Department of Health and Human Services. This letter was a reminder for me to switch my provider before December 31, 2014. The letter said I should have received notification from WellCare about the change for a Provider.
Why am I receiving a letter dated in November for mailing and I get it the end of February? If someone has gotten paid for this mailing, they should not have. This letter did not reach me in time and had I not been aware of the changes I would have been fined and punished. Whomever sent out this November mailing in February SHOULD NOT BE PAID and their services should be eliminated.
