They hijack your computer with their pop up add that says your files are encrypted and unless you pay $500 the key will end in a few days
you can not get rid of their pop up either keeps coming up on computer so this is abuse and could scare older people into thinking they have to pay
would never do business with this company due to their poor marketing techniques and warn others to not to due to their sneaky ways to get customers by scaring them
On behalf of victims and survivors of sexual exploitation, I am compelled to write this review. I am an ex therapist treating victims of child abuse and sexual exploitation. I know that the effects of child sexual abuse and exploitattion never go away. It is always somehwere in a person's consciousness or in their unconscious processes or their dreams when they sleep. Child sexual abuse and exploitation can lead to multiple personality disorder in women and sociopathy and psychopathy in men.
I was interested in TOR becuase of the arrests of black market criminals done by international law enforcement.
TOR offers a browser to the DARK NET/WEB.
I downloaded it several years ago and then deleted it. I downloaded it 1.5 hours ago. Within 4 clicks after dwnloaded it today i clicked on the hidden WIKI which on its first link does not state that it is a child pornography website.
IT IMMEDIATELY PULLED UP A CHILD PORNOGRAPHY WEBSITE.
TOR AND THE ELECTRONIC FRONTIER FOUNDATION ARE CULPABLE AND MORALLY RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PROLIFERATION OF CHILD SEXUAL ABUSE AND EXPLOITATION.
THEY DAMAGE CHILDREN BY THEIR COMPLICITY IN NOT MONITORING THAT WHICH THEY MAKE AVAILABLE ON THE INTERNET.
I was shocked, dismayed and DISGUSTED.
They are the biggest ripoffs to the moral fibre of the world and children that are being sexually abused and exploitative. Their basic message, on the tor website FAQS, when asked if TOR is used by criminals, is to basically state, that they are already doing it so we are not culpable for what criminals (child pornography) may do. This is the same sociopathic reasons drug dealers will tell you about dealing drugs to addicts, "Hey it is already happening and if I do not do it, someone else will".
They also engage in false advertising that they are a functional anonymizer for internet users. This is absolutely untrue.
