Today, July 22nd I brought my car in to get an oil change. I received a call and they proceed to tell me that I need front and rear brakes, struts, fuel injection, front tires, alignment. I told them, really front and rear brakes I just had them done 3 months ago by my mechanic which I have used for over 20 years. After I paid for my oil change, I drove straight to my mechanic and NO, I DO NOT need any of that work. I will never go back again.
The owner of the shop is the worst owner i have ever seen in my life. he deal with me with very bad attaduide as if im asking him for money not giving him business.
He over charge me and after i found out he didnt want to give me my money back after he admitt it. also my car didnt get fixed it getting more worst.
We took our car to Tire Choice of New Tampa, Florida. The front tires were shaking. They stated it was the inner tire rods. They suggested that we replace the front tires. We stated that we couldn't afford tires and just replace the tire rods. The quote was for $450 which seemed a little high. When we picked up the car, they had installed 2 tires that I had never heard of. We spoke to the manager and all he could say was that we told them to replace the tires. if I were to replace the tires, I would have researched and then discussed what tires they had available. We weren't given a choice.
Went to Tire Choice in Lady Lake to have oil changed. Mechanic told me I needed new tires. So I purchased the new tires, i the meantime they told me with new tires I really needed to have the car alligned. So I purchased the life time allignment.
Go and pick the car up and the car is pulling to the right really hard. I took the car back to them and then they told me I needed a control arm, and bearings. So they do the work. I get the car back and nothing has changed, as soon as you let go of the sterring wheel you completly go off the road.
I took it back a total of 7 times and now they are trying to tell me this is how my car is made!!!! So ummmmm why was all the work needed if that is how the car is made! and why would they have had to put all these new parts in the car if that is how the car is made? Why wasnt my car driving like this prior to me taking it to them?
So by the time I was finished I was told that the car can not be alligned! Almost 1600.00 later.
So I attempt to file a complaint, yea that gets you no where. Come to find out from an inside source their sales at the Lady Lake store were down by 36% since the manager that was currently there had been there!!! This is factual, all you have to do is review their sales for 6 months.
So WOMEN, BEWARE!!!!
They LOVE to prey on women, because us women usually dont know whats truly wrong and what really needs to be fixed.
So EVERYONE, DO NOT UTILIZE TIRE CHOICE, the mechanics are DEFINATELY UN-QUALIFIED, as well as they are THIEVES!!!!
Coperate doesnt care that this is how the stores are being operated, because I showed the head guy on paper what the deal was, and he didnt want to hear it.
Eventually they are going to get caught, and sued!!!! BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE
