Kiosk in grocery store had employees for the Star Ledger advertising and claiming that a purchase of a coupon book would make the intern look good and possibly get promoted to a full time position based on sales. Purchase came with two ten dollar gifts cards to the grocery store. Employee guaranteed that there would be no recurring charges made to credit card used to purchase coupon book and that we were just helping him out. He was wrong. I never received said coupon book. There are three recurring charges that will be made to my credit card. In order to cancel those charges, I would have to return the gift cards. I am now locked into a newspaper subscription I never wanted in the first place.
